Samuels, Montgomery Limited in Practice
Redskins left tackle Chris Samuels and defensive tackle Anthony Montgomery did not participate in practice because of knee situations, Coach Jim Zorn said.
Samuels, who underwent knee surgery in the offseason, experienced knee problems in the preseason. The team has said it would have to manage Samuels's knee throughout the season. Montgomery was limited in practice because of patellar tendinitis.

damnit. I'd say "Already?" but we all know he's been getting his knee drained throughout pre-season. I am very scared about Big Mike having to come into RT if Samuels gets worse.

CRAP!!!
"PFT is reporting that an inside source at Redskins Park has let Mike Florio know that despite the Redskins claims to the contrary, Chris Samuels knee is a very big concern, or as they called it, "career ending". The team plans on sitting Samuels if he cannot go for the Rams game, up until the bye week. After that if the knee hasn't responded, it might be the end of the road for Samuels"

Good thing we spent so much draft and free agency attention on O-line depth for the 5th year in a row. Oh wait...

well, nothing good can really come of this, if it's true about Samuels' knee, but darn it, isn't about time this team had some breaks going its way? What if one of our backups steps in and does a great job? It happens to other teams!

Are we going with what we have for this? Excuse me if I'm not totally confident in Big Mike at this point but where the hell is Levi Jones at this very second?

If Samuels is unable to play, the fix is simple:
Start Heyer at LT
Start BMW at RT
C'mon peeps, get it together...
ugh...
