Smoot and Rhinehart being out are not so good, especially Smoot, I don't have much confidence in the young DBs.

We would be in trouble today if it were anyone but the Rams... It'll suck to not have Smoot... but we still need to/should win this game.

Let's see how we fare with an inexperienced 3rd corner playing nickel all day. Didn't seem to hurt the Giants too much last week...

Mason gets to run out of the tunnel today!!!!
Looks like we will see a lot of 3 Safety sets today too... Doughty, 2 sacks today and a forced fumble today!!!!

Why is Barnes inactive?

Posted by: Imjustlikemusiq | September 20, 2009 11:58 AM | Report abuse

Just like Musiq,

He's too confused... Blache D schemes have him lost.... Plus I do believe we will see 3 safety sets today to leave Doughty/Horton close to the line b/c of Stephen Jackson...

This thread has been up for 20 minutes. There are 2608 votes in the poll (87% picking the 'Skins) and only five posts on the thread.

Good. Poll voters should be seen and not heard.

Things I hope to see today:
Orapko assume the mantle of L4M. I don't care whether it's Bulger, Jackson, or their TE that gets it, but we need a return to Lust for Mayhem.
4 catches for the fiesta trio.
Haynesworth blowing over Jason Brown, getting the sack, then flopping on Brown saying "whew, I've fallen and I can't get up".

Question RI...

Is it Vinny's job as Exec. VP of Football Ops. to tell Zorn to call more pass plays or use this player or that player more.

Or is that meddling?

still think having 3 OL on the inactives isn't smart. especially since 1 of the 2 active OL backups is BMW. Fortunately, its the Rams ...

Aloha and Good am. Its 0620 and I'm getting ready to head to the SB. Am I an idiot for actually starting ARE in FF? Probably, LOL.

Anyway, watch out for that modern day Conrad Dobler Richie Incognito taking a cheap shot or 10 at AH to get him off his game or worse, injured. Hope we take that MFers knee out in the first drive. The entire league would cheer.

Meddling? You use that term with this front office?

In most organizations, the GM's job is to get the players. The coach's job is to win games with them. Wrong players? The GM gets fired. Lose games? Coach gets fired.

But, if your boss says that he'd like to see smile more when you're in your cubicle, what would you do?

I do think Marcus will get a few carries today... hopefully because we are up by 20+ points.. ( is that asking too much once every 3 yrs or so?? ) Remember that Texans game when Brunnell set the consecutive completion record... NOW THAT WAS FUN TO WATCH!!!

Clegg i was actually at that game... was living on the MS gulf coast at the time and me and a co worker from Houston drove over for the weekend. It was fun to watch...and we still had to sweat out a furious finish.

Key word finish...the Redskins need to a) learn to get to a spot in the game where they can, and b) actually finish and put a dying dog down and go up by 3 scores late in the third.

I'm out to the SB.

HAIL!

I live in Houston, ( technically in San Antonio now ) and brought the entire FED EX CLEGG CLAN down to Houston... We had a great time and didn't realize Brunnell broke the record until after the game... Apparently, all of us were overserved by the Texans Bartender on the Club Level.

That sort of thing makes me nervous. This game and next week vs Detroit have me worried. These are always the easy games that we seem to blow...

I saw somewhere that Smoot was on the field for 12 snaps last week...I was at the game and saw him personally responsible for 3 big plays by the Giants. I have nothing against the guy but if 25% of the time you play you get hooribly burnt then maybe 'inactive' is the best place for him.

As for Rinehart, I can't comment on him because I have never seen him on the field. With an OL as weak and shallow as ours it is inconcievable that the only upper level draft pick we have used on this position can't even make the game day roster.

I have seen enough! Moss is over-rated! Bulger is giving Campbell a lesson on how to throw a fade! Seller has hands of stone! Mason is not NFL material. Zorn's play calling is so bad! Why does he not at least call more passes into the endzone when they have 1st and goal twice, at least once to one of the big receivers? Even I can call 3 big wide (Kelly, Thomas and Mitchell) and then throw to Cooley underneath. That is a touchdown everytime! Try it at least!!!!! I hope they lose so we can scrap this season and start all over with a new head coach with more discipline! Hip, hip, hooray, y'all! Y'all come back soon and support the owner and company!

Why is JC being bashed???? Zorn has 1st and goal inside the 10 and runs it twice then has his RB throw a pass. YOU GOT TO THE RED ZONE PASSING THE BALL!!! KEEP PASSING!!!!! Zorn's play calling sucks.
