Last Night

Hey there. Sorry for the late start.

Spent last night in South Beach. It's weird how there is like a different hot spot every night of the week, and apparantly you need to know the locals to have a real feel for it. We ended up back at The Delano, which was not nearly as packed as it was Tuesday night, but that was cool with us.

Clearly, some place else was the Thurs. night place to be, but after dinner we went back there with some friends and it was actually low-key, which is generally what we look for. I know these parties the rest of thw week will be elbow-to-elbow, so a night with just like 75 people or whatvever at the bar in this hotel turned out to be perfect.

Again, the people were friendly, and the former players in there and all the model/actress types were relaxed and chill. Didn't have to knock anyone to the ground to get a beer. Enjoyed the laid-back feel of everything.

Tonight, the parties begin in full force. We've got P. Diddy's party and the Leather and Laces party, which is hosted by Carmen Electra, Jenny McCarthty and, Kelly Monaco. Wish us luck.

The Rose Bar is one of my favorite places in South Beach...the Delano does get packed, but it is so spread out that you generally can find a place to be away from the crowd and still people watch...

There is a SUPER hot and SUPER friendly bartender at the South Seas pool bar who works evenings, and that place is usually pretty relaxed. Not nearly the pomp and circumstance as the other hotel bars, but it definitely has the South Beach feel and will most assuredly be less crowded.

I'll be there in eighteen hours...and I can't wait.
