Last Time Skins Scoreless at Half?
Sept 13, 1981, against the Giants.
Teams combined for 11 punts in the half, and 12 first downs. As Borat would say, "Niiiiiccceee!"

So what are you saying? The TV guys know what they were taling about when they said this 20 minutes ago?

Carlos putting the big hit on!

Funny thing is I used to yell that at old Double Move all the time but never in that way.
Posted by: skins1110 | October 19, 2008 6:08 PM | Report abuse
Oh that was the ball. I thought it was the WR's head.
Posted by: alex35332 | October 19, 2008 6:08 PM | Report abuse
Holy crap! That was quite the hit.

What a hit. I'm wondering when Cribbs is going to make Washington regret passing on him in the draft and offering him a free agent contract? Probably not today.

Rogers bring the wood! I kept telling you Rogers haters over the last two seasons to give the kid time.

I hate to say this, but I think we caught a break on that last TD. I saw the replay twice and didn't see Portis cross the goal line.
Posted by: jiacinto | October 19, 2008 6:04 PM
That's because Cooley's butt was in the way. Gotta go with the line judge on the far side.

can't we beat up on anyone and win decisively?

O got to score again. Put this damn game away.
JM220
Posted by: icetotalpackage | October 19, 2008 6:15 PM | Report abuse
Now the O has to move the ball and get another TD. Can't let this team they have a chance.

I get sick every time I see our field goal block unit, or lack there of. They never seem to go for a block on the outside. Those guys back off every singly time.

Does that commercial from Burger King make anybody want to go there and order a mushroom swiss burger? Yuck.

This defense hasn't given up a TD since the 1st quarter of the Iggles game.

Nice return, Rock!

Well the good thing about that is no one tries fake field goals against us.

Posted by: mofass79 | October 19, 2008 6:18 PM
Because they're two entirely different skills. Just because you're good at one, doesn't mean you can do the other. The kicks and the defenders come in differently. You can bet they've tried Rock many times in practice.

The good things about this game?
I think we're gonna win.
And it isn't going to make anyone overconfident.
Win ugly, d00ds!

I also don't think this defense has allowed a 100-yard rusher since Week 1 (B. Jacobs).
Posted by: MrRedskin21 | October 19, 2008 6:22 PM | Report abuse
Like TE said, they're two different skills. PR has to be able to go on a dime. KR gets the benefit of a head of steam and a wedge.
Posted by: freakzilla | October 19, 2008 6:22 PM | Report abuse
This one is going to come down to the wire.
Posted by: jiacinto | October 19, 2008 6:24 PM | Report abuse

Posted by: freakzilla | October 19, 2008 6:24 PM | Report abuse
Well, nice punt placement!
I complained earlier, so I should give credit where credit is due now.
Posted by: RedskinRay1 | October 19, 2008 6:25 PM | Report abuse
D needs to come up with a turnover because O is not getting it done.
Posted by: talent_evaluator | October 19, 2008 6:25 PM | Report abuse
Now they are pinned at the 6, the D has to stuff them.

If we should lose this game, it sure won't be because of Anderson. Man, they should trade him for Patrick Ramsey.
