Last week Portis had his best game of the year and p1funk went on one of his patented, you can't argue with me I'm always right rants about how Portis is done.

Very random question, but...

Some QBs, like Peyton Manning, are constantly yelling random nonsense as they get up to the line of scrimmage. This is probably a dumb question, but is there any rule that prevents the nose tackle or any other defender from yelling out just as random nonsense of their own? If nothing else, it'd make the offense think a bit more.

All I know is I heard Doc Walker announce this from the bench sometime in the 2nd Quarter
