Montgomery, Wallace to Have Surgery
Turns out two players suffered broken bones in the Redskins' scrimmage Saturday and will have surgery Monday.
Defensive tackle Anthony Montgomery, who broke a small bone in his right hand making a tackle, will have surgery Monday and will miss at least 10 days. Montgomery, who started 15 games last season and made 47 tackles. was one of only three defensive starters who played in the scrimmage (Reed Doughty and Marcus Washington were the others).
Linebacker Rian Wallace also broke a bone in his right hand and will miss at least 10 days.
In addition, offensive lineman Kerry Brown strained his left shoulder and will be out one to two weeks.
