Morning Bits

You guys need some shiny tinsel to distract you for a bit...the Redskins have switched their schedule up, moving practice to 11:15.

Dan Steinberg has the NFL Films in-game clip of Jim Zorn and Jason Campbell. You must watch. Now.

Steinz also thinks there's a burgundy revolution of some sort taking place and comedian/Skins fan Danny Rouhier has his Week 2 angst in convenient video form.

And then there's this guy in red...

Where is the toolio , shaunsherman12, this morning?

I feel like I need a reprimand for being a horrible fan and contributing directly to the craptasticness at Redskins Park.

And speaking of the end of the game...how did we end up on the 10yd line? Didn't the Rams have like 4th down on the 3? Did anyone else see this?

Posted by: RITCA | September 24, 2009 10:55 AM

I asked my brother that same question during the game.

CP, your failure as a fan is their failure as a team. Don't get so hard on yourself.

We downed the ball 3 times. The ball was placed at the spot where Campbell knelt each time.

I love the "behind the scenes" In game look at Jason Campbell and Jim Zorn. Keep that fire going fellas, and make a big jump this week against the Lions.

scamp, RITCA, somebody up here yesterday said we got a delay of game on what would have been our first play after that turnover, hence the five yard difference. I didn't see it either, but that's what someone said, and as we all know, if something is said on the internet, it's definitely true.

What? We don't even have a play for kneeling down and end up getting a delay of game? Doesn't make sense.

Nate, it was in the game log. It's a new analysis covered in "Game Center", I think. I pulled it up yesterday, and has time of start of play, players involved in play, player making tackle, etc.

I missed the call too.

I think fox cut away to go to the guys calling the game and just never mentioned the penalty because they were giving a game summary and whatever else they usually talk about at the end of games.

Posted by: Chia_Pet | September 24, 2009 11:15 AM | Report abuse

Okay, I swore I wouldn't do this, but I'm tired of everyone blaming Bush for our country's problems. It's kind of like blaming Zorn for all of the Redskins' problems. And now that jm220 has provided an interesting videoclip of "behind the scenes" stuff, we all seem to be backing off a little.

Hey if you have an NFL films clip that shows Bush not starting an unnecessary war, not f-ing up the economy, environment and everything else he touched, please post the link.

I am the one who posted the skins got a delay of game. If you go to NFL.com and look through the play by play of that game its listed in there. I don't think they showed it on TV but when someone asked I did some quick research, which as you all know may be one of my few strengths that I bring to RI.

Has anyone mentioned the fact our next four games are against teams that are a combined 0-8?

I'm sure someone has. But do you know what that really means?

We get the crappiest announcers covering the game. Ughh!

But I can't figure out how to get to Game Center from the NFL.com site. I don't see Game Center as any of the options. How do you get to it?

I don't know how your surround sound is set up. But if it has a radio tuner you could always just listen to the game on the radio.

Not that I would ever do this. Just saying it's possible.

All we ever get are sources but steinbog gives us video and direct comments from actual players and people.

The irony
