As the rumors swirl, Reed Doughty leans toward Trent Williams

With the continued speculation about what the Washington Redskins will do with their first-round pick - No. 4 overall - in the NFL Draft, Redskins players are beginning to join the discussion and speculation.

According to a tweet from Redskins editorial director Larry Weisman, Washington safety Reed Doughty posted on Facebook that he believes the Redskins will take Oklahoma offensive tackle Trent Williams but that he also would not be surprised if they selected Tennessee free safety Eric Berry.

Draft-day rumors have been flying that the Redskins are interested and perhaps preparing to take Berry with the pick, though some believe it may be a smoke screen to entice teams to trade up with the Redskins - perhaps allowing Washington to add more picks to their NFL-low number of four this weekend.

Doughty now simply joins the chorus of voices guessing as to which way his team will go.

HFers John Randall undrafted...Jerry Rice 16th round....sort puts the draft in a bit of perspective....

its Berry with the #4..
The only prospect "poker face" Shanahan hasnt spoken highly of, or at all, for that matter.

Same thing he did with Cutler...The selection came out of nowhere.

Rolando McClain is the best defensive player in this draft and if he slips to the VaGiants, they will not hesitate to make him their future All-Pro MLB for years to come. Pray to Tim Tebow this does not happen!

Cliff Russell on 106.7 the fan just said that from he's been hearing, he thinks Eric Berry will be the skins pick at #4. However, ultimately he thinks the skins want to trade down.

Eric Berry will be the pick if the Skins cannot trade down. Cannot let that kind of talent be passed up.

If they can trade down, we may end up with the other great FS, Thomas and an OL later. Trade down will only happen if Bradford is there at #4, so be prepared for Berry.
