Russell Okung discusses his visit with Redskins
There are many scenarios in which Oklahoma State tackle Russell Okung is a key to the Redskins' draft tonight.
For starters, with arms that could wrap around a Buick, he could be the Redskins' pick at No. 4. But he could also go to Detroit at No. 2, which means a defensive tackle is still hanging around at 4. Teams thirsting after either a D-tackle or safety Eric Berry could represent the Washington's best chances of moving down in the draft.
Here's Okung discussing his recent visit to Redskins Park.

I really get this strange feeling that we are gonna draft Berry if we stay put at 4.
It makes sense safty is our second biggest need behind LT and it fits the BPA scheme and you gotta believe shanny thinks he can find Oline from the scrap heap or late round pick.
I have been all about drafting Oline at 4 but have to admit I'm warming up to berry as long as some kind of deal is done to get a second round pick or trade for vet tackle.
And please stop with the ridiculous AH trades dude isn't going anywhere

There is a 100% chance that JReid is a retard

I didn't know Reid used to write for the Onion...
"The human body, as you may be aware, is roughly 60 percent water," Reid said. "However, many don't realize that it's also 75 percent meat. If that percentage rises too high too quickly, it may result in a distended stomach, intestinal bloating, and even death.

Admit it you went and watched lion king a couple times just so you could come up with that.
I can see it now honey I swear I'm watching this just because of the redskins and I don't have a disney fetish at all.
Just kidding thought that was hilarious by the way how long did it take you to come up with it. You have been working on it for a couple weeks haven't ya.

We already have the first AFC East draft-day trade rumor.
ESPN's Sal Paolantonio, stationed in Philadelphia, reports the Eagles are talking to the Miami Dolphins about trading into their 12th slot.
Paolantonio adds the Eagles want to move up to grab a defensive player and speculates that prospect might be Texas safety Earl Thomas.
Meanwhile, I just arrived in the Buffalo Bills' media center, where I will be reporting throughout the draft. The Bills currently own the AFC East's top draft choice at No. 9.

Sounds alot like when people said that about JC17 not going anywhere. And that Shanny was going to at the very least give him a shot to be a starter.

Im curious whats going to happen. Gotta say Im a fan that none of us have any idea what is going to happen. Any number of things could happen and I like that. Shanny has done a good job making people think were willing to go QB, LT, FS, even DT if we have to. Its been a nicely run pre-draft process and I just hope we don't go screw all that up by trading up to # 1 overall... it would just cost to much and we have too many other needs....
Also, I'd be with Berry as well. Landry could move back to SS and we'd have a pretty solid set of safeties (Berry is soooo similar to Sean Taylor its crazy.)

granted as long as we somehow trade back in toth 2nd round and get a tackle there... or trade haynesworth for a vet tackle (like gaither)...
Posted by: peoplearestupid1 | April 22, 2010 3:49 PM | Report abuse
we already realeased 11 players
we should be done getting rid of players, ESPECIALLY talented ones under 30
maybe we're just trying to entice KC to swap with us so they can take Berry at #4
this would save $ and we could get a late round pick
JUST A THOUGHT

The dude speaks English correctly! Sign him up. (Maybe he can tutor Portis and a few other of the Skins.)
