NFL Q&A with Tracee Hamilton, Wednesday at 9:30 a.m.

Join Post columnist Tracee Hamilton for the latest edition of her daily "First Things First" chat, when she'll discuss whether NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell should suspend the Steelers' Ben Roethlisberger. Submit your questions, but first, read on to see what's on her mind:

If nothing else, at least Tuesday's meeting with NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell prompted Ben Roethlisberger to cut that god-awful mullet of his. The clean-shaven Steelers QB met with Goodell on Tuesday in New York, presumably to discuss whether Goodell and/or the Steelers will impose some sort of punishment on Big Ben for his continuing inability to stay out of trouble.

Roethlisberger, of course, was never arrested in the latest mess in Georgia, nor will he be charged. But criminal charges are not a necessary precursor for NFL punishment, and the commissioner has a lot of discretion in the matter. But should he? Should the league be able to punish a player who hasn't run afoul of the legal system, or should "where there's smoke, there's fire" be the guiding principle? Let's talk about it, shall we?

Great, I'm watching the ESPN 30 / 30 on Allen Iverson's Hampton trial , and when the black female lawyer comes on and starts talking about media control, all the sound goes out on ESPN, here in my Southern Virginia abode..Don't ever threaten the status quo corrupt power structure, they'll use all the technological tools at their disposal to squelch you down..

I sort of feel ripped off when the blog post is really just an ad for Tracee's morning chat.

Boy, they've been pimpin' Tracee Hamilton relentlessly around here...how 'bout she earns her stripes a bit before we prop her up like she's Mark Maske?

Man, I can't wait for the schedule release. It'll give us something much less controversial to kick around on here...

"It must have been the comments of posters like BlackBagOps, ElDrano, FartezDudmore, MrPink, ElevatorAl and others that caught the eye of the awards committee."

You're right.

The Special Olympics Committee was impressed by the work of those posters.

I keep hearing about this new Roth-do. Has anybody actually seen the haircut? How could it possibly make him any uglier than he already is?

It's basically the same short do he had as a rookie...you know, back before everybody found out he's a turd.

I used to work with a girl that was "friends" with him in school (I live here in Ohio) and she said he was always a world class doosh.

scamp, I totally believe it. Everything I've ever heard about the guy is that he's a huge jackhole. There's a rumor floating around that the Rams are offering up the #1 overall pick and next year's #1 for Big Ben...if that's even a little bit true, the Steelers should take whatever they can get running away laughing. Keeping him as the face of that franchise is a great way to erase over 40 years of goodwill...
