No Sign of Jason Campbell Yet

We didn't see him hanging around as usual, but that is no cause for alarm. He may be getting treatment on his groin, which he strained a bit during the game. Jim Zorn will begin speaking in a few minutes, so we'll get an update by 12:30 (I'm not exactly out on a limb here, predicting that someone will ask him about the health of the QB in the first few questions).

Very unnecessary post.....

Unlike Pacman he dosen't need a babysitter......

Nice win. Hope Campbell is OK, he is playing good football.

The Portis fumble in the 4th quarter was the 1st turnover all season on a running play.

You'll give yourself a chance to win most every game by moving the chains, playing good defense and rarely turning the ball over. Which is what happened vs Cleveland.

"CBS is terrible coverage, always deiplleassed when i see where on there network. im glad they have the AFC and SEC games so im not missing exciting football.

yeah the last two national champions came from the SEC, what a boring conference!

i'm calling BS on the scoreless at halftime stat. Didn't the Skins lose 3-0 to the Jets back in 1994? It's called fact check people!

F-reg, thats pretty funny. Lets see, Cops, or Bullriding....Bullriding, or Cops....hmmmm...which direction to go...

I'm not saying he needs to read the playbook and post it on his blog ...oooops...that's been done...however, don't prop this show up like it will give us INSIGHT.

It doesn't.

Like the WaPo or RI give us any insight? Please. This place is good because of the comments that follow the thread, not for insights.

craig2, yeah.. lol.. What a great venue. They didn't even put in adequate room for the TV coverage. Brilliant.. DannyLand.. lol.
BTW - I see we failed once again to disrupt the opponent down by the end-zone. Thanks Dan. Great design. You're brilliant.

unlike most CFB fans in the southeast, I don't have any allegiance to the SEC. If UGA doesn't win it all, and we probably won't (although it IS STILL POSSIBLE), I don't care who wins really. No way I would ever cheer for Florida to win.

Bama I don't mind, I got family at Bama, but it wouldn't bother me either way. That said, I'd like to see Bama\Texas play right now. That'd be a good game.

cej, STOP LISTENING....ever think of that one???

Posted by: BeantownGreg | October 20, 2008 12:10 PM | Report abuse

Great advice...so I am never allowed to comment or criticize?? So, if you disagree with play calling and draft picks....STOP ROOTING FOR THE SKINS...ever think of that.

I have every right to comment...just like you have a right to blog and criticize.

But when did the jets score? If they scored in the 1st half, then they are still correct.

I like CBS top-to-bottom better than Fox. I always cringe when we get a game with anybody but the top guys (Aikman and Buck). Moose is okay, but I could also do without Siragusa. I cringe when we get Kenny Albert or Brian Baldinger.

This 'Vinny Cerato Show' is almost unlistenable. I'm glad we get the insight like....
" Well, we are gonna try to get better each week."
" If Clinton doesn't fumble at the end, the game might be over"
" Right now, we have it going and the players are playing well"
Now THAT Is insight !!!

Oh , by the way...he says that Leigh Torrence is playing well.

more Vinny....
" Now we go on the road, and when yo go on the road, you have to pack your defense and special teams "
So there you go...Jason, Clinton, CP...take the week off

Vinny has to be mild mannered when it comes to talking about the Redskins or NFL because the haters are always listening.........

He is very indepth when it comes to College Football......

Steinz also has Portis planning to celebrate the Super Bowl in Puerto Rico, an transcript from the Vinny Cerrato show, hip hip hooray and the Caps' trip to FedEx.

God Bless registration...just think of the assorted gems we'd be getting right now from the anon masses for JLC posting that Jason Campbell is "getting treatment on his groin". There would be at least one Quagmire post by now...

Truth - Agreed - I think that would be a great National Championship game -

Yes, I, too had the "Cops" choice to make, but struggled to get by
watching the game on the internet.

The Jets scored in the first half, but the stat was given in a misleading way. The stat was referring to the last time the 'Skins were involved in a game that NEITHER team had scored in before halftime. In that case, it was the 1981 game. I looked it up because I remember watching that miserable 3-0 game...

It's official:

Jansen is starting because JZ refuses to mess up any chemistry.

Let's hope no one makes a big fuss about this. I was in Heyer's corner, but I agree with JZ.....

I agree the haterz are there...However...don't give me these nuggets about how this show will give us insight and tell us things from the inside. I am opposed to the line of promotion that he would give us something nobody else can....like...it was windy.

Every week starts with the same thing:

Kelly hoped to play last week, but *insert injury note here*. However, he hopes to play this week, after 7 weeks *and counting* of warming up the pine for the rest of the players.

Posted by: mattsoundworld | October 20, 2008 11:31 AM

With Thomas getting more disciplined in his route running and special teams play, plus Davis getting some real on-the-field game time experience, you gotta wonder whether Kelly's health and nagging injury status are giving Vinny Cerrato ulcers ... Malcolm Magnesia.

JLaC is continuing to pimp Cartwright. He asked about an excellent tackle he made on Cribbs, and JZ had no idea what he was talking about and began to talk about Devin Thomas' hit on Cribbs.....

Good Point, Haze - blame where blame is due. We just get so used to the drill. I'm definitely guilty of that.

I heard there are discussions about bringing the team back into the district. I find it a little hard to believe, though - any insight?

thx!

Brown - it says young Zorn got them with his "Reebok Custom Card" - I know my son, with his size 13 1/2 feet has had shoes custom made, too with his name on them, etc. and they didn't cost much more than $100
