Oh, Happy Day!

Jasno will greet you from FedEx, but first, let's do our little Boren Penumtimatum victory dance.
You guys are unbelievable. I figured we'd hit it this morning, but you guys were on a mission last night. You're all MVPs and thanks to you, we reached the Boren Penultimatum at 11:56 p.m. EDT, with Periculum's comment about attracting some women. MV Dame's count was spot on (sorry about the Irish, Dame).
Further making the day great was the reappearance of the snowcam. That made me very happy.
One of our brethern, Charlie, sent a little something he asked me to post on game day and wanted me tell you that drinks are on the house! He's living the good life, painting (call it his burgundy and gold period) and enjoying himself in France.
The only thing left now is the Boren Ultimatum! Oh, and the game...

Just kidding about Phoenix. Let's just go where the season takes us. No expectations for me.

I can't stop thinking about Charles Mann's twisted, bent fingers from driving quarterbacks into the ground.

Great article by Wise this morning.

So does Jasno get a blackberry since we're are the best blog ever and need fueled by more insider posts from him?

Posted by: Dante | September 9, 2007 10:34 AM | Report abuse

Wise's story and Jasno's story are exactly what I like about a good sports section, human interest. Campbell has it clear in his head what it takes to win, sacrifice. Wilson has it clear in his head what it takes to win, persevearance. I am so confidnt about this season, lots of points on O and few points on D.
It's off to Cuckoo's for mewhere I'll be surrounded by silly screaming Bronco's fans, but they can't help themselves. Wish me well and safe passage Redskins Nation. It's not quite the enemy camp (I always feel uneasy transiting DFW, brrr.) but it won't be the friendly environs or camraderie of Redskni's fans.
RIP, Pop. I'll forever miss our
post-games. I miss you.

How about a hail to our front office for making the best of a year with no draft picks and managing to bring 3 undrafted rookies into camp that made the team. I hope this is a sign of times to come

"However, that recitation of sexually-charged imagery and innuendo should have been heavily laced with SJKs. We aren't prudes, but we think you went a bit too far for a 'family' blog."

Sorry any offense. As you can see from my original work,
copyright periculum, that one can make the room rather
steamy with nary an sjk or obscenity. Besides, it was late
I was lascivious and I was getting somewhat piqued by
warrior ballads and talk about drinking. Why not talk
about something fun?

And it was partially in honor of the guy "the Danny" is
honoring today at RFK. Joe Theismann who blew the
'83 superbowl against the Raiders by being otherwise
distracted by wild sex with Kathy Lee. His wife and
children in tow and at the game. To wreak her revenge
his wife later did a spread in playboy. Yep she was
that hot.

Wow! nice job kiids. Sorry I couldn't chip in last nite - but I think we did some damage fo sho.

I'm psyched to kick some dolphin TAIL today - let's DO THIS!

"today at RFK"

ooops meant to say FED-EX. Well, I do miss that stadium.

Finally since SJK means sorry jack's kids. Compared to some of the things Jack has said that little poem was pretty benign.

So, if your wife dances in front of the TV while you are watching the game, with very little in the way of vestments here is what she might be thinking ....

Guivre of the Fleece

Cross white cap and trough long had the Guivre been searching;
Burnished red dorsal fin near pristine beaches, lurking. Wallowing in an abyss with scent of darkness and fear reeking; Delirium coming, a glistening gossamer gown behind moon beams peaking.

Seeking her enchantments, from surging tide upon golden fleece is he laid; A tortured soul by lascivious dreams now enslaved! Burning embrace of flame, fulcrum of passion 'neath translucent gown; Surging dorsal parting Her foaming drape of ancient renown.

Twisting and sliding, crashing through wave after wave; Steered by lust's mischievous lingua, Ecstasy's road to pave. Quivering labium, for which many playful songs are sung; Muse's words for which no language has tongue.

Piloting every enchanted ripple flickering ever faster; Wondrous maze, many long luscious passages to master. Have I now forgotten my own name? Daemon am I, driven forward through foggy myst and cleansing rain.

Taunting serpent tasting nectar its thirst never quenching; 'Midst swelling waves, flicking 'tween every crevice sacred elixir drenching. Burnished red dorsal, swollen, as serpent's tail revels in revealing; Heart of the Fleece, fabulous golden curls, heady vintage was it concealing.

Basking in flame, undulating waves climbing ever higher; Goddess healing font rages, overwhelmed by Passion's irresistible lyre. Droplets of ambrosia greedily savored by Her devoted Knight; Seer's visions come unbidden revealed by sacred star light.

Desire still rules in a place outside time and takes for itself a new form; Swelling tempest, trembling thunder in a roiling storm. Passion's fulcrum, white heat rising, intertwined souls by love's incineration loosed; Desperate now is the Fleece, by anticipated penetration is she infused.

Comes tortured sunset colored dorsal to her surprised delight; Finds her most sacred altar deep within her temple of Erotic Night. Frolicking, surging to and fro, frenzied dancing, he leaps inebriated by nectar. Urging ever more exuberance, Goddess still protecting Troy as once did Hector.

But not long can she hold 'gainst the clever horse in her temple, Playfully dancing 'cross every bastion of ecstasy's dunjon making her tremble! Long sword thrusts overwhelm the Keep's resistance and its Liege. Quivering arrows, wounded moans riven by Cupid's bow, mark end of the siege.

Sweet bliss then comes impaling this knight's seduction; Her radiant translucent fingers gently seeking burnished dorsal's eruption. Yet still awake lies Her Guivre, never quenched by goddess elixir; In the throes of Ecstasy dreaming of dancing a twixt her.

Ha! Lucky that's the only typo at 8:47 on a Sunday morning! At first, I typed "burgundy and golf."

"burgundy and golf" is when both the Redskins and Tiger win on the same day.
