On a More Serious Note - Brunell and Springs

Brunell is a much less cumbersome wrap on his throwing arm today and says his left elbow is feeling better. He plans to throw some passes on the side during practice and is not sure how many drills he will take part in, but is definitely progressing. Practice starts in a few minutes, so I'll let you know what I see.

Looks like Springs is out at least two more weeks. Definitely a no-go for Sunday. The report at the groin specialist in Philly revealed no further injury, but he still has a groin strain to overcome. Probably start working individually with the athletic trainers again next week and try to build up to be able to take part in team drills in practice. Officially, they're calling him day-to-day, for what it's worth. Does that term really hold any meaning anymore?
