Early thoughts:
Brandon fumbling early......that bodes well.....
Offense showing its early ineffectiveness.

Defense looks great early: 3 and out.

Good D. 3 and out.
Same for the Steelers. Lost two fumbles inside their 30 and the Fins only got 6 points and no first downs out of them.

Uhh, AH just used Williams to sack Cutler. Like, literally used, as a tool.
Posted by: stevie_in_gp | October 24, 2010 1:21 PM | Report abuse
So, Albert just drove the Bears center back into Cutler for the sack. Good. Good.

McNabb is one of the most idiotic quarterbacks in the league.
Redskins got fleeced by Reid and the Eagles giving up those draft picks for an aging over the hill DUMB quarterback

McNabb now has 2 TDs on the day
Posted by: Diesel44 | October 24, 2010 1:39 PM | Report abuse
Seemed to me like the Skins offense was maybe a bit anxious coming into the game. They've been moving the ball all game, but just seemed a bit jumpy and a little too eager.
Hopefully that TD drive settled everyone down, 'cause they've got a real shot to get a win on the road today

You know I like Donovan...I hope he's part of the Skins for the next several years but I'm gonna go out on a limb and say...I don't think he likes being in Washington and I don't think he cares much for the Shanahan's messing with his footwork and their whole approach. Did everyone notice that whole interaction with Kyle and Dad over there on the sideline after the blocked pass - interception - TD?

I was thinking the exact same thing initially, Pep.
But the more of the conversation they showed, to more I saw McNabb acting like a smart, mature QB. Seemed to accept whatever they said - good communication. (Says the guy 700 miles away.)

You can't blame McNabb for that INT that's if you know anything about the game of course from what i'm reading most of you ain't got a clue, if wonderboy(Kyle Shannahan has an effective game plan then that int doesn't happen the Bears have used that scheme all season long that blitzer should have been picked up that's why you saw McNabb acting the way he did on the sidelines after the INT toward Shannahan.
Posted by: dargregmag | October 24, 2010 1:47 PM | Report abuse

Dude, you sould like YOU have no grasp on the game of football.
The ONLY person you can blame that INT on is McNabb.
he should have takent he sak once he was halfway to the ground and trying to throw across his body.
Read up before you drop that type of anti-knowledge.

We lost the bears figured our D out. Just take 2 step drops and dump the ball off 3 to 5 yards and we can't stop it, just like Bradford did. Dam.

Posted by: nicety251 | October 24, 2010 2:55 PM | Report abuse
Am I the only one who believes that Troy Aikman should be banned from working Redskins games? Hall scores on a spectacular 92 yard interception return, and Troy whines that he should have been penalized for celebrating on both knees...give me a break...
Posted by: eyekey416 | October 24, 2010 3:25 PM | Report abuse
Good win for the Skins. They're finding ways to win the close games. It would be nice to get a blowout or two. Maybe that will happen next week against Detroit.
McNabb looked a little rusty. But man, Torain played well. And DeAngelo Hall had about the best game I have ever seen in a defensive back. It was a little like Darrell Green or Deoin.
Posted by: tim_carpenter | October 24, 2010 5:22 PM | Report abuse
All you Haynesworth haters should now realize how little you know about how to run a professional football team. AH is a valuable asset, and all that early season blather about trading him or cutting him sounds even more foolish now than it did then. AH is right where he should be, on the Washington defensive line making plays and being a problem for Redskin opponents. And you know nothings are where you should be, on your butts, drinking beer and pretending you know one thing about NFL football.
Posted by: cjbass55 | October 24, 2010 6:22 PM | Report abuse
The Aikmen haters are probably more prejudiced than he is. To imply Aikmen has a sore spot for the 'Skins because of the way his career ended is ridiculous. To imply Aikmen said what he did about Hall's TD celebration because of Redskin animosity is also stupid. Displaying some kind of axe to grind would be the dumbest thing Troy Aikmen could possibly do to his sweet after football career, and he's not that stupid. On the other hand, some of you posters probably can't put your anti Dallas pettiness aside for anything. Everything he says goes through your anti-Dallas mind set,and you think you hear something that really isn't there. Apparently FOX doesn't share your opinion about Aikmen, as they consider him one of their best analysts.
