what makes everyone think we are so much better than the lions? We could easily be 0-8. I keep hearing on the radio, its the lions, they suck. Well we suck too. The lions are just as good as we are if not better. People in this city always talk about how we are so much better on paper. Please, this team has no talent, they cut the best talent they have on this team, Brandon Banks, that's how smart we are. They cut this guy and he's all we had this game.

The only good thing to come out of this game is maybe the chatter about McNabb's long term contract will end. I will never get why anyone thought this was a good signing, and yes I said so at the time.

Now that Dubya's gone we have a new village idiot in town - Mike Shanahan. Rex Grossman gave em the best chance to win v. one of the worst teams in the league w/ 1:45 left and down by 6? Was Shanahan even watching the first 58:45 and what the Lions' pass rush did to the much more mobile McNabb? I think I'm gonna go throw up now.

Have no problem with the coaches move late in the game but do have a problem with him being forthright in why...

To say your backup qb can run the 2 minute offense better than your starter and expect knowledgeable fans to believe you is a slap in the face....Just say why you made the change...

The last two games I just sat there thinking (both times) that I'm watching the two worst teams in the league (don't know who's worse, the Bears or the Lions - think it's the Bears). Skins need to spend all draft picks on the O-line.
