FIRST, get the offense going!

Posted by: Alan4 | November 30, 2008 2:15 PM | Report abuse

WHY IS JAMES THRASH ON THIS TEAM ?????? FDAGGARACMJLC !!!!!

Posted by: Daggarforracialjustice | November 30, 2008 2:16 PM | Report abuse

man, need to get another stop here. . .

not JC's best game so far, but the WR's aren't exactly bailing him out either. . .

Posted by: skinsfan8KaboveMSL | November 30, 2008 2:16 PM | Report abuse

SECOND, score some points!

Posted by: Alan4 | November 30, 2008 2:16 PM | Report abuse

Thrash has got to go.....

Posted by: chrislarry | November 30, 2008 2:17 PM | Report abuse

12 MOD 5YARDS

Posted by: Daggarforracialjustice | November 30, 2008 2:17 PM | Report abuse

wish we could get cooley into pass paterns, not sure we can afford to have him block exclusively. . .

Posted by: skinsfan8KaboveMSL | November 30, 2008 2:18 PM | Report abuse

Damn it is time to put Thrash on the bench.

Posted by: icetotalpackage | November 30, 2008 2:19 PM | Report abuse

Anyone think this post "Portis is back" is about 2 drives late?

Posted by: svxcountry1 | November 30, 2008 2:19 PM | Report abuse

I love Thrash, but he blew it on that play. C'mon, 83.

Posted by: freakzilla | November 30, 2008 2:20 PM | Report abuse

going in down by six would be really positive given how badly the O played in the first half. . .

Z-man needs to regroup and make some adjustments at 1/2. . .

Posted by: skinsfan8KaboveMSL | November 30, 2008 2:20 PM | Report abuse

They say Malcolm Kelly catches everything thrown near him.

PUT HIM IN!!! WE NEED TO SCORE POINTS!

Our defense is holding up their end, even without a pass rush.

Posted by: Alan4 | November 30, 2008 2:21 PM | Report abuse

What is to love about thrash??? I just dont get it, he sucks!!!!!

B/c he is a "good guy" so what?

Posted by: chrislarry | November 30, 2008 2:21 PM | Report abuse

Geez, I hate judgment call overturns. Come on, there was no indisputable evidence there.

Geez.

Posted by: farstriker | November 30, 2008 2:22 PM | Report abuse

Yeah, I think Thrash's usefulness has expired. All that "true Redskin" stuff is over for him. Cuz say what you will about Thomas and Kelly, they're rookies. What's Thrash's excuse for not being any good?

Posted by: justice98 | November 30, 2008 2:22 PM | Report abuse

I GUESS IT DOESN"T MATTER if the ball hits the ground these days..........

Posted by: michael_b_clegg | November 30, 2008 2:22 PM | Report abuse

Yep. Tom Coughlin is the luckiest coach in the NFL. Does he ever lose a challenge? Why do the referees go out of their way to favor the Giants like this?

Posted by: jiacinto | November 30, 2008 2:22 PM | Report abuse

How can you overrule that...he rolled on the ball!

Posted by: svxcountry1 | November 30, 2008 2:22 PM | Report abuse

I don't know the exact rule on receptions, but I bet you in most circumstances you'd see that incomplete.

Posted by: fan-o-matic | November 30, 2008 2:23 PM | Report abuse

didn't know you could challenge inside of 2 min whiskey tango?!?!?

Posted by: skinsfan8KaboveMSL | November 30, 2008 2:23 PM | Report abuse

LET'S CUT OUR JASON AND SAVE THE 8 MIL !!!!

Posted by: Daggarforracialjustice | November 30, 2008 2:23 PM | Report abuse

Why do the referees go out of their way to favor the Giants? Am I alone in thinking this or am I just biased because the Redskins are losing? In almost every game that I've seen the referees almost always rule in favor of NYG challenges even when they shouldn't.

Posted by: jiacinto | November 30, 2008 2:24 PM | Report abuse

Wasted INT, Thank you very much Thrash!!

Posted by: Curzon417 | November 30, 2008 2:24 PM | Report abuse

DON"T WASTE OUR TIME DISCUSSING THRASH.... HE's typically due one big play a year, with more drops sprinkled in throughout....

Almost 300 yds offense in 1st half

Posted by: michael_b_clegg | November 30, 2008 2:24 PM | Report abuse

How does Manning get 15 seconds to throw???

Posted by: fan-o-matic | November 30, 2008 2:25 PM | Report abuse

SACK PLEASE!!!!!!

Posted by: michael_b_clegg | November 30, 2008 2:25 PM | Report abuse

If Thomas and Kelly had shown promise in camp, Thrash probably wouldn't be here. His special teams contributions nothwithstanding (whatever they may be), he's here by default. Eight catches all year? Come on now.

Posted by: justice98 | November 30, 2008 2:25 PM | Report abuse

Ward scared of Rogers on 3rd down?

Posted by: svxcountry1 | November 30, 2008 2:25 PM | Report abuse

I don't care about yards, I care about points. We're down 6, but 7 points per half ain't gonna get it. We need to start putting more points on the board.

Posted by: Alan4 | November 30, 2008 2:26 PM | Report abuse

I"ll take it.............

Posted by: michael_b_clegg | November 30, 2008 2:27 PM | Report abuse

Finally a call goes against the NYG!

Posted by: jiacinto | November 30, 2008 2:27 PM | Report abuse

No way that TO should have been granted!! Another conspiracy!

Posted by: svxcountry1 | November 30, 2008 2:27 PM | Report abuse

Now watch, the yare gona remark theball and give them a first down.

Posted by: SkinsfaninKaneohe | November 30, 2008 2:27 PM | Report abuse

I take that back because the booth will find a way to give the first down to the NYG.

Posted by: jiacinto | November 30, 2008 2:27 PM | Report abuse

Crap!! I swear they review everything for the Giants. He clearly didn't make it.

Posted by: ga8085 | November 30, 2008 2:28 PM | Report abuse

N O W A Y T H E Y O V E R T U R N
T H A T ..............

Posted by: michael_b_clegg | November 30, 2008 2:28 PM | Report abuse

haha great...another replay that does not have enough evidence but I predict a first down for Giants now!

Posted by: svxcountry1 | November 30, 2008 2:28 PM | Report abuse

Here we are now.

Entertain us.

Posted by: freakzilla | November 30, 2008 2:28 PM | Report abuse

YES!!

Posted by: svxcountry1 | November 30, 2008 2:29 PM | Report abuse

Did they actually rule against Tom Coughlin? This is the first time that I've actually seem them not rule in his favor.

Posted by: jiacinto | November 30, 2008 2:29 PM | Report abuse

Amazing.

Posted by: SkinsfaninKaneohe | November 30, 2008 2:29 PM | Report abuse

another review?!?!?!

Posted by: skinsfan8KaboveMSL | November 30, 2008 2:29 PM | Report abuse

NEED AT LEAST A FG HERE......... TAKE 2 SHOTS DOWN THE SIDELINES TO KELLY!!!!!! He's 6 freakin 4 inches tall

Posted by: michael_b_clegg | November 30, 2008 2:29 PM | Report abuse

COOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOLEY!

Posted by: svxcountry1 | November 30, 2008 2:30 PM | Report abuse

That's what I am talking about.

Posted by: icetotalpackage | November 30, 2008 2:30 PM | Report abuse

JASEN HAS TO GOOO !!!!!!!! 5 YEARDS

Posted by: Daggarforracialjustice | November 30, 2008 2:31 PM | Report abuse

COOLEY!!!!!

nice protection, maybe the giants should rush more people next time. . .

Posted by: skinsfan8KaboveMSL | November 30, 2008 2:31 PM | Report abuse

I'm happy we got on the scoreboard (with a TD no less!), but it sure would be nice to see the offense get some of those 40 and 48 yard plays in the second half and put some real points on the board!

Kudos to the defense. Despite giving up a bunch of yard they have, once again, kept us in the game.

Posted by: Alan4 | November 30, 2008 2:31 PM | Report abuse

Throw one to the endzone.

Posted by: SkinsfaninKaneohe | November 30, 2008 2:31 PM | Report abuse

Can Suisham get enough leg this time finally? He's been straight enough.

Posted by: svxcountry1 | November 30, 2008 2:32 PM | Report abuse

FADE TO KELLY HERE !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Posted by: Daggarforracialjustice | November 30, 2008 2:32 PM | Report abuse

GO TO KELLY!!!!!!!!!! DANG IT!!!!!!!!! KELLY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

KELLLLLLLLLLLLLYYYYYYYYYYY!!!!!!!!!!!

Posted by: michael_b_clegg | November 30, 2008 2:32 PM | Report abuse

F all you damn haters with no heart from earlier.

JM220

Posted by: icetotalpackage | November 30, 2008 2:32 PM | Report abuse

Whatever happens here I have to say that the Redskins have held their own.

Posted by: jiacinto | November 30, 2008 2:33 PM | Report abuse

Sigh.

Posted by: SkinsfaninKaneohe | November 30, 2008 2:33 PM | Report abuse

JM,

NOT ME!!!!!!!!

Posted by: michael_b_clegg | November 30, 2008 2:33 PM | Report abuse

DARN !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Posted by: Daggarforracialjustice | November 30, 2008 2:33 PM | Report abuse

once again.

Posted by: svxcountry1 | November 30, 2008 2:33 PM | Report abuse

They kicked with 9 seconds left. Unbelievable!!

Posted by: Curzon417 | November 30, 2008 2:33 PM | Report abuse

Damn! Can he make a damn kick over 40 yards?

JM220

Posted by: icetotalpackage | November 30, 2008 2:34 PM | Report abuse

There they go again, but this could be easily a 21 or 28-0 lead. This is the same cr!p, though, that has cost the Redskins game after game.

Posted by: jiacinto | November 30, 2008 2:34 PM | Report abuse

SUISHAM IS GOING IN THE TANK!!!!!!!!! CAN"T AFFORD THOSE!!!!

Posted by: michael_b_clegg | November 30, 2008 2:34 PM | Report abuse

Oh man, what has happened to Suisham?

Posted by: talent_evaluator | November 30, 2008 2:34 PM | Report abuse

Our kicking situation still good everyone?

Posted by: mofass79 | November 30, 2008 2:34 PM | Report abuse

the whole f'ing kicking game sucks

Posted by: dl51 | November 30, 2008 2:34 PM | Report abuse

see ya guys in 15.

Posted by: svxcountry1 | November 30, 2008 2:34 PM | Report abuse

WHY NOT RUN A FADE ???????? MAYBE 4 SEC RUNS OFF !

Posted by: Daggarforracialjustice | November 30, 2008 2:34 PM | Report abuse

We stopped the bleeding. This is a lot like Skins-Giants game 1, except we turned it around even earlier this time.

We're in this game.

Posted by: farstriker | November 30, 2008 2:34 PM | Report abuse

Ok, this dude sucks. How many more kicks under 50 is he going to miss. They should of run one more play, cause my granpa got more power in his leg than this freaking pencil neck.

Posted by: ga8085 | November 30, 2008 2:34 PM | Report abuse

Does anyone else think that the stands look pretty empty for a HUGE game? Bad weather? So WHAT?

Posted by: fan-o-matic | November 30, 2008 2:34 PM | Report abuse

HORRIBLE!!!

Posted by: WRBD | November 30, 2008 2:35 PM | Report abuse

Wow...seems like the Vinny will need to use our first rounder on a PK (add sarcasm)

Posted by: mohammed10 | November 30, 2008 2:35 PM | Report abuse

They did have a better 2nd quarter, but this isn't enough to win the game. It could easily be a 21-0, 28-0 lead at this point. Being down six is a miracle at this point, but I do think that Susiham should have made the FG.

Posted by: jiacinto | November 30, 2008 2:35 PM | Report abuse

ugh....wow.....swiss ham sucking second half of season.

But in many ways we survived this half, very winnable game!

Posted by: chrislarry | November 30, 2008 2:35 PM | Report abuse

WTF?

Seems like Suisham is OK kicking FGs, EXCEPT when it's a high-pressure kick.

Well, it's only 13-7. Lots of football left.

Posted by: MrRedskin21 | November 30, 2008 2:36 PM | Report abuse

Every aspect of our special teams needs to be upgraded

Posted by: austin987654 | November 30, 2008 2:36 PM | Report abuse

new kicker please. what a momentum killer heading into halftime. they would feel a whole lot better going in 13-10...*sigh* suisham...you HAVE to make that kick

Posted by: rachel216 | November 30, 2008 2:36 PM | Report abuse

calm down folks, down by less than a TD after such a horrid half?

methinks that jints are the ones who will be talking about missed opportunities. . .

don't the skins get the ball to start the (2+1) 3rd?

Posted by: skinsfan8KaboveMSL | November 30, 2008 2:36 PM | Report abuse

Does anyone else think that the stands look pretty empty for a HUGE game? Bad weather? So WHAT?

Posted by: fan-o-matic | November 30, 2008 2:34 PM

Yeah, I thought we'd see you in the stands. What's your story this time? Bad weather?

Posted by: talent_evaluator | November 30, 2008 2:37 PM | Report abuse

I don't care anymore is Vanderjet still available? Sign him and tell him to just keep the mouth shut.

Posted by: alex35332 | November 30, 2008 2:37 PM | Report abuse

SF8KAMSL,
Nope, Skins went 3 & out to open the game... Giants Football to start the 3rd...

Posted by: -CN- | November 30, 2008 2:38 PM | Report abuse

No G Men get it first

JM220

Posted by: icetotalpackage | November 30, 2008 2:38 PM | Report abuse

Missing a FG like that is completely INEXCUSABLE!

Mediocre college kickers make that.

Posted by: abtassler | November 30, 2008 2:38 PM | Report abuse

I think the Giants get the ball to start the half.

Posted by: jiacinto | November 30, 2008 2:38 PM | Report abuse

jiacinto, it could easily be 21-0 or 28-0, but our D hasn't given up more than 24 points all year.

All we need is for the offense to score 3 TDs (or more). All we've needed all year (all decade?) is for the offense to score 3 TDs per game.

Posted by: Alan4 | November 30, 2008 2:39 PM | Report abuse

Jansen has another bone-head false start, he's soo done, where is Heyer?
Thrash can't cathc a cold. J Taylor looks better, still not planting the QB, suisham??? wtf!!

Posted by: lsskinsfan | November 30, 2008 2:40 PM | Report abuse

There's got to be some washed up soccer player in some latin american country available to kick

Posted by: austin987654 | November 30, 2008 2:40 PM | Report abuse

beep beep

Posted by: CindyBoren | November 30, 2008 2:41 PM | Report abuse

Yeah. The offense needs to step up. By the way--I may have been in the laundry room--did Manning throw an INT?

Posted by: jiacinto | November 30, 2008 2:42 PM | Report abuse

a 42 yard field goal is made by most kickers in this league, it's probably very easy for them...

Posted by: rachel216 | November 30, 2008 2:43 PM | Report abuse

Yeah, I thought we'd see you in the stands. What's your story this time? Bad weather?

Posted by: talent_evaluator | November 30, 2008 2:37 PM

Dude, what the hell are you talking about? I'm 3000 miles away. But if I lived in DC, I'd sure as s*** be out there.

Why aren't you there?

Posted by: fan-o-matic | November 30, 2008 2:43 PM | Report abuse

NFL.com has P. BURRESS 1/1 -20 yds passing........ Maybe 3.5 yrs in jail will help him grow up...

Posted by: michael_b_clegg | November 30, 2008 2:43 PM | Report abuse

Same shyt week after week...poor kicking game....avg qb play ..below ave offense...be nice to be the team that is aggressive once in a while ...9 sec togo at least take a shot..another shazam miss...gmen gonna roll us 2nd half..

OMG! Shawn Springs has got to MOVEEEEEE! Deangelo had it.

Posted by: rachel216 | November 30, 2008 2:53 PM | Report abuse

I can't decide. Are we in this game, or are the Jints playing well within themselves? Internet radio keeps cutting out and the ESPN game-cast is it's usual self.

The 'Skins. Just when I thought I was out...

Posted by: stevebeagrie | November 30, 2008 2:56 PM | Report abuse

ok kelly can't catch now. OMG recievers catch the FRIGGIN BALL

Posted by: rachel216 | November 30, 2008 2:56 PM | Report abuse

Those Taylor picks and the three high picks on pass catchers are looking expensive, we should've went for Boldin and drafted linemen with the change.

Posted by: stevebeagrie | November 30, 2008 2:58 PM | Report abuse

jints >50% on 3rd down conversions. . .
