Portis Warming Up Now
He got out on the field a few minutes ago, running around a little. Standing around talking to Moss, Jason Campbell and Carlos Rogers right now. We shall see. I have a hunch he'll carry it once or twice.

Good. I hope he does sit out. I am just wondering how many of you CP haters ever played the game.

xxx just starting a rumor that Brunell might call it quits if he doesn't win the number 2 job. I am pushing for him to have a bad game now. (sorry Lisa lol)

Hopefully Portis doesn't interfer with Betts workload to start the season. Ladell could and should be the starting back. We should trade CP for another one of the 49ers receivers.

Jasno could have ordered a Blackberry by now if he wasn't wasting his time giving us minute-to-minute updates on Portis.
I hope Clinton P. goes out on the field for the coin flip, talks a little smack to the Jags' captains, and then retires to the bench for the evening.

All you Portis haters should become Broncos fans.

What's the over/under tonight on Brunell's average yards/pass? My bet is about 6 yds/completion.
And for everyone who has complained that the Redskins receivers had bad stats last year - get a clue. Receivers can't throw the ball to themselves. When the QB in more than half the games can't throw as far as the Umpire, the receivers are going to have bad stats.

Just looked at Peter Kings predictions for every team. What jumps out is what he is forecasting for the 'Skins opponents. Forecast of 8 games against teams with losing records ... and 12 against teams with 9 wins or less. The only teams forecast for 10+ wins are the Eagles, Pats and Bears. Which could mean the easiest schedule in years.

please.....no more Broncos fans. I'm surrounded by too many as it is. And every time I see Champ's jersey in blue and orange, I get upset.

Thank goodness. No CP tonight! The only better news would be about a 9 hour thunderstorm over Jacksonville so they don't play the damn game. Good riddance to the preseason.

Amazing, isn't it?
The lengths he goes to be last;
As if it matters.
