Rams-Skins: Pregame Rundown and Roundup

Kickoff is mere hours away and we'll be back with inactives around 11, but here's a compendium of important things you simply must know.

Barry Svrluga took a look at Jim Zorn's playcalling today. Cliff's Notes version, in one Zorn quote: "I am not afraid."

Mike Wise talked with Joe Bugel and the offensive linemen about the effect of the death of Bugel's daughter, Holly, on Bugel and the players.

In St. Louis, Jim Thomas writes in the Post-Dispatch that Jim Haslett spent the bye week (his first week as the team's head coach) trying to change the Rams' mindset.

You can compare the gameday breakdown from St. Louis (hint: Rams have no edge) with ours.

By now, you know the rest of the drill. We'll be twittering (RedskinsInsider), mobile texting (text "REDSKINS" to WPOST [97678]) and BOGO (blogging our guts out, for newbies to the maroon-and-black).

The game gang today includes the usual suspects: Jason "Jasno" La Canfora, Jason Reid, Barry Svrluga, Les Carpenter, Mike Wise, Tom Boswell, Dan Steinberg and Paul Tenorio.

The Capital Weather Gang says it's going to be a beautiful day in D.C., albeit warmish.
