Randy Thomas Knee Surgery

Forgot to post this sooner (Howard is doing the small story on it for the actual paper, so it slipped my mind).

Anway, guard Randy Thomas had what the team is calling a minor scope done on his right knee today and is expected back for the start of training camp in late July. He will miss this weekend's mini camp.

Thomas is a huge part of the O Line and a guy who has played in a lot of pain before and worked hard to recover from some serious injuries. He left practice early during the final day of OTAs last Thurs., and ended up needing a procedure.

He'll have about six weeks before the start of camp, which is usually enough time with something like that, but you never know. I imagine they'll ease him into the start of camp either way.

The procedure was performed by team surgeon Ray Thal at the Reston Surgery Center.
