Doesn't this schedule get thrown away (mostly) if the league goes to 18 games?

So what? We can't beat other bad teams anyway.

Posted by: jj250 | January 2, 2011 9:35 PM | Report abuse

Actually, it will be 4 teams and 5 games. We play both Seattle and St. Louis, and one or the other is going to be in the playoffs...just saying.

@jj250- Yep..The Lions again, no need to go any further. Looking for next year again..

Ladies and gentlemen: This concludes your 2010 Washington Redskins football season.

A disappointing 6-10 season.

However, there are huge improvements on this team.

I see the Redskins being a much better team in 2011.

Who stays:
1. Ryan Torain- when healthy he is the truth.

2.Brandon Banks- we all know what he does and how important it is.

3. Anthony Armstrong- a certified deep threat, no denying that.

4.Keiland Williams- Love him as a 3rd down back.

5. Anthony Bryant- NT may not be such a pressing issue in the draft.

5. Jammal Brown- should come back healthy next year and bookend with TW.

6. Adam Carriker- seems to have improved at DE

7. Kevin Barnes- versatile guy, good to have guys like that on the team.

What needs to happen next year including the draft:

1. We can all probably agree that a QB will be drafted. Locker, Newton? Who knows? But this guy will be the future and Rex will be starting next year.

2. The 2nd round needs to be a center, one that can come in and start right away.

3. The rest of the draft should be used on LB/DE/RB.

4. FA should be used not on the biggest name available, and Bruce Allen seems to get bargain guys.Minus McNabb.

5. Offensive guard should be addressed in FA,so should WR and safety.

6. Malcolm Kelly will really be the wildcard. We still don't really know what this guy can do.

7. Hopefully this leaves us with a strong base, a team built on the lines.

Year 2 of the offense and defense will be greatly improved.

2 questions...

First, does anyone know our draft order selection?

Second question, if we finished 3rd in our division (both Dallas and us finished 6-10, but I think it is determined we had the tougher schedule due to playing St. Louis and Tampa Bay. While the Cowboys played Arizona and New Orleans. All the other 14 opponents/games were identical. So, with Tampa and St. Louis having a combined 2 more wins than Arizona and New Orleans, it is deemed the Redskins had the tougher schedule. So, the Skins would be the "division's 3rd place winner," while the Cowboys are deemed the "Division's 4th place winner? Is that correct??). Meaning we get the 3rd place team out of the north (Minnesota) and the 3rd place team out of the south (that would be Tampa Bay rather than Carolina). Dallas would have a "4th place schedule" next year so they would get Detroit (4th in the north, and Carolina, the 4th in the south)

Confusing...I know. But can anyone confrim this?...Buehler?...Buehler?

And I think the 18 game schedule, if passed, would not start until 2012?...

Go Seahawks!

A Seattle win moves the Skins into the 10th draft slot versus 11th overall in the first round.

Come on 'Hawks!!!!

Where are you finding the draft order? And how do they break the tie between 7 or 8 teams at 6-10?

A bonehead mistake typical of one JReid. I was surprized to see it was not him. No worry, he'll bone it up(or make it up) again soon.

Ever wonder about all the free stuff you see on the web? It appears like everybody wants to give stuff away for nothing, nada, zilch. But are these items truly free of charge? If so, how can these companies afford to give away all of these coupons and samples? It’s truly all about you, the consumer. We live in a very competitive world marketplace place. The internet has upped the ante in terms of who could be seen and heard via all with the mass media. Now companies need to make lots of noise and this is one way that can do it. One of the best place on the web is called "123 Get Samples" and get your free stuffs
