Chris Horton starts for Reed Doughty at strong safety.
Demetric Evans replaces Taylor.

The rest of the inactives are pretty much the same scratches as last week:

starting to wonder if I wouldn't rather have that 7th round draft pick over E. James...

Good on Horton, seems like an obvious move to me...

Posted by: chrislarry | September 28, 2008 3:06 PM | Report abuse

when or rather, will erasmus james be able to play? sure could use him, with JTaylor out. M Kelly might want to place a resume with easterns to sell cars, he sure can't get on the field. btw, the FO didn't notice how injury prone he was in college???

here's to hoping for a few breaks in D and a victory for the Skins.

Posted by: lsskinsfan | September 28, 2008 3:12 PM | Report abuse

Blache put a smile on my face with this one...a move so long overdue in starting Horton. I had flashbacks to last year's 4TD romp with T.O. and I remembered how Doughty got tooled so much in that game.

Go Horton! Go Bruins

Nice, Horton gets the start.

how fast will those fans that want horton to start, turn on him when he gets burned? They all do. horton vs. doughty is closer than most on this post want to admit.

'Sup my fellow DC brethren and sistren. Do the early games blow or what? Let's go DC, and Chi town!

The guy had a serious injury last year. When he played he was good. What's the rush? It's the fourth game of the season and he's at least contributed as much as Malcolm Kelly.

Man. Just now learning about Bucs kicker Matt Bryant. His 3-month-old son died Wednesday. Funeral was yesterday. Playing today. Perfect on FGs and PATs.

Ray - watching the game on TV and listening to Joe and Troy, so not sure what's going on with the radio.

We're giving Romo way too much time in the pocket. Offense needs to come alive here if we're to have any prayer of winning this game. They're also outkicking us on special teams.

Don't know if you guys are seeing this or not: through the magic of DVR, I've watched several Cowboys snaps in slow motion. Their right tackle is jumping waaaaaaaaay early. Can't believe the refs aren't seeing it.

Posted by: BiggeeC | September 28, 2008 4:55 PM | Report abuse

Not sure why Fox allows Aikman to call this game. He clearly has loyalties that do not allow him to call the game impartially. He makes a comment about an "obvious" holding call on a passing play that is very much debatable.

Unsolicited advice: when you're asking someone to help you with someone, the results are often better if you refrain from belittling or insulting them during your request...

Please tell me yo don't talk like this to people who serve your food, 'cause I'm thinking you might be getting some "special sauce" if you do!
