Cindy, I'm going to be at the Giants game and would like to be there early for the ceremony. Any details on what time it will start? Noon? 11:30?

Not going to the game but wish I could stay for that ceremony at least.

I hope we rip the giants to peaces- SKINS 21-0

I think if we could have a few statues of ST out there at FedEx the fans would be able to get over the grief

for those of yall that watched the game last Sunday on channelsurfing.net, how was it?

The last one I watched there was just awful and unwatchable. Pretty upset this one isn't gonna be on TV here.

Is there anything like this blog for the Giants? Always like to check up on our opponents (esp with Plax and Jacobs banged up)... a link would be appreciated.

Truth - try looking at a site called "MYP2P.com" - they have streaming video links, and they also have some links to software for TV sites that broadcast games...I've watched all the games this year through that

there's nothing like this blog...anywhere.

From the NY Post, re: the Giants:

As for Brandon Jacobs, Coughlin said he is optimistic that Jacobs will be able to play against the Redskins after he was not activated in Arizona, even though he was listed as probable going into the game. Jacobs has swelling in his knee and told the coaching staff he did not think he could give the team his best performance.

DT Fred Robbins exited early with a shoulder injury, but Coughlin said that "he seemed to have good flexibility today."

TE Kevin Boss took a big hit and suffered what Coughlin is calling a mild concussion and also two bruised knees. Asked about the concussion, Coughlin said: "They don't think it is an issue."

redskins 21-10, after a touchdown and two FGs, team goes for two point conversion to land the score exactly on #21.

i have a good feeling.

Redskins 21-20

A last second field goal attempt by the Giants is blown wide left by a 21mph wind gust.

Am I the only one that thinks the trading of Shocky was a dumb move for NY, still? Shockey is the no 3 TE in the NFC, boss is tied for no 10.

In terms of TE's NY has gone from the top to the bottom of the NFC East.
Combined TE stats for the East (Right now CC is no one with 60 catches)

Skins- 66 catches, 661 yards, 2 TDs
Phi- 41 cth, 435 yds, 3 TDs
NY- 26 cth, 292 yds, 6TDs
Dal- 69 cth, 830 yds, 5 Tds

Alex - They have more TD catches than anyone else, though...

Posted by: 4thFloor | November 25, 2008 11:42 AM | Report abuse

I don't think TD's are what makes a TE a star, its clutch 3rd down type plays to me.

eh, I think it was a good trade. Players that want to leave and can get you a good value, I'm trading those kinds of guys every time.

Still can't believe Cincy wasn't all over that trade with us for Ocho Cinco. Grateful it didn't happen, but as I read someone say "The only thing dumber than offering 2 first round picks for Chad Johnson is turning down 2 first round picks for Chad Johnson."

Posted by: TheTruth11 | November 25, 2008 11:45 AM | Report abuse

Alex, they won the SB without Shockey, who for the most part had one or two good years during his time in NY I think the bigger reason for the trade was how much Eli was able to come out of his shell now that Shockey wasn't around.

Shockey=A$$hat

Posted by: Flounder21 | November 25, 2008 11:47 AM | Report abuse

Don't get me wrong he was not the key player for the team but he was is and probably will be for the duration of he career a far better TE than Boss. To me thats was a big Eli problem. If you can't handle a white trash guy like shockey (and he was very white trash) than what kind of leader are you? Eli, basically had to wait till every former leader of the offense was purged to become the guy for them.

If Jacobs dosen't play, this game should be won be the Skins very easily. I don't see him playing at the moment......

From TSN:

12. Washington Redskins (LW: 12). Redskins fans should be thankful for Clinton Portis. He wasn't just another 1,000-yard back as Denver thought in trading him for Champ Bailey. He has been a special back who runs hard every week, unfazed by whatever's ailing him. He has been the most valuable Redskin through all his years in Washington.

Cards beat the Cowboys, and will beat the Eagles in Philly.

If the Cards are so overrated, then how come we only barely beat them at home? Don't underestimate that team. It's not the same old Arizona Cardinals.

Posted by: PBL4 | November 25, 2008 12:05 PM | Report abuse

Yeah, they lost to the Redskins, for chissakes. How good could they be?

Posted by: daggar | November 25, 2008 12:05 PM | Report abuse

And that Drew Brees guy last night... where did they find him, and why wasn't he playing when the skins played NO?

Public service re-post from the Steinbog for the PDX crew......

Hey, NateinthePDX--Is there a Redskins bar in Portland? I've been out here about a year, and I've just been watching games at my neighborhood bars around Clinton St., but I'd be stoked to know if there's a Redskins bar somewhere....

Sound familiar (*Gibbs 2.0*)

other than that first drive after the SB ceremony up in NY, our D kept us in the game. we need to find a way to score 24 on offense and the dink & dunks alone & crossing patterns won't work. i am also hoping zorn unleashes no huddle against the g-men to offer a new look. its my belief it will neutralize the situational substitutions that Spags will throw at us based on down & distance. their corners can be beat too.
