Renaldo Moves On

Just left the building. Sad thing to see, but he says his agent has received a few sniffs already.

"As one door closes another door opens," Renaldo said.

Wynn is intent on playing - I feel like I've got some more great years left in me," he said - and thanks the Redskisn for his 5 years here. He had become a pillar in the lockerroom and in the community. He wished he could have learned of the decision sooner - I wish it could have happened earlier," he said, alluding to former starters Lemar Marshall and Joe Salave'a who were released in the past few weeks.

Renaldo did not seem as surprised by the move as I thought he would be, and, lilke everything else, he took it in stride.

I understand the youth movement going on, but the Redskins have let go of three top-class human beings in Renaldo, Joe and Lemar.

Have not seen Ryan Boschetti come through yet - though the process of letting guys know is ongoing - and I haven't seen all 22 guys come through yet. So we'll have to see how it plays out.
