Rogers Sits It Out Again
An injury update from the Sunday morning practice, which was in full pads:
For the second straight day, starting cornerback Carlos Rogers sat out all of the team drills -- including the stints when the first-team offense took on the first-team defense in a two-minute drill -- with a sore calf muscle.
"We're just going to continue to keep that thing loose," Coach Jim Zorn said.
Though the injury is not a long-term concern, Zorn said he would like to get Rogers back as quickly as possible so the coaching staff can evaluate not just his play, but the defense as a whole.
"I think every drill's important," Zorn said. "I think every drill's valuable. I'm not worried about it, but I'm concerned that any player would lose the opportunity to get a little bit better, and we need him to get into the flow of practice and the flow of preparation, but we have to deal with the reality of it. I think he'll be back soon. The calf muscle's just a little bit harder to judge when a guy can come back."
The other potentially significant injury Sunday was to receiver Roydell Williams, who Zorn said was pulled from drills after a pass hit his finger, causing him significant pain. Williams will undergo X-rays.
Rookie defensive lineman J.D. Skolnitsky and rookie fullback Eddie Williams both sat out with hamstring injuries.

You'll notice a mature poster like me doesn't brag that he is "First" because, ultimately, who cares?

Apparently you care if you are bringing it up. The mature poster would not advertise that they didn't say 'first'...

Nice, Duck. I had the same thought, but reading it still made me laugh. Personally, I'm kinda pulling for E. Williams, just cuz I know his high school.

These people have nothing to say and only say it because they can say it briefly. Boring as ChRiS LarrY's blog complaints.

What? You obviously didn't read Rocky Mac's tweets, (every other one of which was "chillin'") this Summer.
