Chad Simpson injured during warm-up
For the second week in a row, the Redskins lost a running back before the game even began.
Chad Simpson suffered a foot injury during pregame warm-ups. Though he was included on the active roster, he will not be available for the Redskins against the Titans.
Last week, Ryan Torain injured his hamstring during warm-ups and could not play against the Eagles.
Simpson is the third Redskins player this year to hurt himself during pregame warm-ups. Punter Josh Bidwell injured his hip against St. Louis and couldn't play against the Rams.
Simpson suffered the injury Sunday after coaches had already included him on their list of active players. He would have been the Redskins third running back. Clinton Portis started and rookie Keiland Williams is his backup.
Simpson still does not have a carry this year. He was used as a kick returner but was replaced in that role by rookie Brandon Banks in recent weeks.

The bad luck that follows Snyder and this team is just amazing.

We're inept at all three phases now. Offense, Defense, and now Special Teams (22 YD punt, illegal formation, TD)
Not a catch by Moss.
There is nothing to like about this team.

That's a catch and fumble!

Rampage won by decision over Machida.

Rabach OUT, Doc in and Monty at C.
Sounds good to me.

Nice drive. The O-line is actually playing well and Williams and Portis are running hard.
Posted by: NosferatusCoffin | November 21, 2010 1:36 PM | Report abuse
Nice drive! Give McNabb a decent amount of time, and the offense can get it done.

And where is Portis now. Saw him on the trainer table on the end of the last drive

Gotta love Keiland. Glad I picked him up for my FF team a couple of weeks ago.

Penalties, ugh. If we can pull this one off then I go with my opinion that last week was a perfect storm that we couldn't have avoided.
We'll see?

Did I just see Joey Galloway catch a 20-yard pass on 3rd down?
Posted by: MyPostIDisAfake | November 21, 2010 1:46 PM | Report abuse
Galloway is smart. He dives to the ground before the ball from McNabb gets there.

Posted by: Devo2 | November 21, 2010 1:48 PM | Report abuse

Uh oh, Dock down.

Posted by: Devo2 | November 21, 2010 1:50 PM | Report abuse

This shed more light on the DUMBEST rule in the NFL: 53 players are paid but only 47 can play. This fu*ked up rule needs to change.

Did not like that call. A dive play in a jumbo formation is not likely to work.
Posted by: NosferatusCoffin | November 21, 2010 1:56 PM | Report abuse
That was horrible call. That play neve works. Scrap that from the Playbook and never draw it up AGAIN.
Posted by: Devo2 | November 21, 2010 1:56 PM | Report abuse
Maybe we can just cut Haney after the game and leave him in TN. I know they'd save a ton on fuel coming home with him not on the plane.
Posted by: Personal_Fowl | November 21, 2010 1:56 PM | Report abuse
Probably the worst Play call all year.
After the penalty...Go for it here.

Posted by: edvar | November 21, 2010 1:57 PM | Report abuse

I try to forget about Heyer as much as possible.

I have a feeling Daddy told Kyle to call that play.
Posted by: MyPostIDisAfake | November 21, 2010 1:58 PM | Report abuse
That was an ugly 3rd down play. But you gotta think that the O line shuffling affected the play calling and the Skins potentially going for it on 4th after the offsides.

When there are 22 players in a very small area of the field, it's not wise to run up the middle

If Tom Brady and Peyton Manning switched teams, the Colts would lose ever game. The Patriots would only lose when Manning choked... which is like twice a year.
Manning > Brady.
No Contest.

Manning to... Blair White?
(Not of Facts Of Life fame)

Now, it's the time of the game... Either Manning does it, or he chokes.

down by a point in the 4th quarter.
Vick will demonstrate why he is a coward. No more running, no extending plays. Get rid of the ball fast, whether it's a good play or not.
Watch. I've seen it his whole career. The guy is a coward.
Which is all the more hypocritical when you consider "dogs" like him are the kind he loathed the most and murdered in creatively sadistic ways.
I guess "The NEW Vick" is STILL a coward. Disappears when the game is on the line. Mark my words. Look at his career. Total Coward.
