One discouraging trend in the last two games is consistently losing the field position battle.

Illness...during a game? Was he sick during the week? Did the vendors give him a bad hot dog?

Don't like Davis playing this late

Hard to believe Sanchez played into the 4th quarter. I imagine Rex Ryan will be pretty hard to live with this coming week.

"Larry Johnson is worthless...."
I agree.
And I've felt that way since his first carry as a redskin.
And so, on Tuesday:
Cut, cut, cut, cut, cut, cut, cut, cut, cut, cut, cut, cut, cut, cut, cut, cut, cut, cut, cut, cut, cut, cut, cut, cut, cut, cut, cut, cut, cut, cut, cut, cut, cut, cut, cut, cut, cut, cut, cut, cut, cut, cut, cut, cut, cut, cut, cut, cut, cut, cut, cut, cut, cut, cut, cut, cut, cut, cut, cut, cut, cut, cut, cut, cut, cut, cut, cut, cut, cut, cut, cut, cut, cut, cut, cut, cut, cut, cut, cut, cut, cut'em and let him enjoy unemployment.....

Why, does he need to be somewhere in the morning?
Posted by: SMACK1 | August 27, 2010 9:56 PM | Report abuse
They played all there 1's not just Sanchez and we still beat them, this team is not as good as everyone thinks they are.

JUST started watching :(
How do they look??
Posted by: rachel216 | August 27, 2010 9:58 PM | Report abuse
Jets have no passing game. Sanchez will throw more INTs than TDs....and we got a fumble!

Beck looked good against the Jets 1st team defense he could challenge Rexy for the backup job.
Another turnover I like what i'm seeing from the backups they are playing with some passion.

Does LJ look a lot better than last game??
How did the starting D look??

Perhaps Fred Davis was over evaluating himself in off season and coaches are playing him now reminding him Cooley is the starter.

LJ didn't impress although he just got a TD.
Starting D was pretty good. Held the Jets to 3 points. Tomlinson got 83 on 11 carries, which isn't good. Albert got in the starting D and was decent. DeAngelo got an INT.

If I were the Skins, I'd be looking to Buffalo or Baltimore for a RB. I didn't like either LJ nor Parker. K Williams played well and has put himself squarely in the mix as a RB.

More then half of that was while the Jets 1's were playing are 2's and 3's so it means nothing.

For those who are concerned about the Skins running game, I say don't be too concerned until about the third or fourth game. Some of the blocking the blocking technique that the Oline uses haven't been rep a bunch in practice, for obvious reasons. The more time the Oline has to rep the run, the more efficient it becomes. Shanny's run schemes are solid.

Saints Chargers on CBS for the truly pathetic...good game!

Whoops, Kolb is still in, but nevertheless, he's laying a stinker.

Exactly. The Skins have been running a simple ground game. The funkadelic zone blocking won't be shown in the preseason.
O-Line seemed to protect the QB very well against a great defense.

Richard Bartel looked like he may have a strong arm.
Anyway, I have an early morning tomorrow, need to call it a night. Good night everyone.

Jets are simply overrated, and over-hyped utilization of fear tactics only makes Rex Ryan looks stupid, he learned quite well from his Dad with his lousy mouth, he is simply not a competition for the Shanahans. Washington without McNabb and Albert with the starting defense and all the jets could muster with Sanchez well into the fourth quarter is mere mediocrity. Good to the Skins shut him up!

Rich Campbell tweeted
Haynesworth says he and Shanahan are now on the same page. He later joked that they're sharing dinner and cigars tonight. 16 minutes ago

Watching how poorly kevin kolb is playing and how great aaron rodgers and the packers last night and think it is pretty safe to say that the kolb era starts off 0 and 1
