Keiland Williams starts for Ryan Torain

By Paul Tenorio

Running back Keiland Williams started in place of second-year back Ryan Torain. Torain was on the sideline riding an exercise bicycle, apparently trying to get his injured hamstring loose.

Torain was expected to start a fifth consecutive game despite suffering a hamstring injury in the Redskins loss to the Detroit Lions before the bye week. During pregame warm-ups, however, it appeared Torain might have reinjured himself. He went back to the locker room. The incident occurred after the team had submitted its inactives, leaving Williams as the only healthy running back on the active roster.

Williams has rushed for 38 yards and one touchdown on 10 carries this season, and also has 14 receptions for 85 yards and one score.

Wow...

Not quite the way I thought we'd start after two weeks.

They better dig in and get tough.

Can you say "Buyers Remorse"? We have no speed, and old has been RICH quarterback, no coaching, no class...BLAH!

Posted by: Mimi2Ella | November 15, 2010 9:01 PM | Report abuse

What have we learned after the bye week?

(1) Our defense has regressed terribly.

(2) The best receiver in our god-awful receiving corps has forgotten how to catch.

What IS the real issue with the 'Skins? Are they that uncoachable?

Posted by: Mimi2Ella | November 15, 2010 9:03 PM | Report abuse

We've relearned the lesson that our owner is a classless sob.

Mimi, babe - where've you been? The owner undermines anyone knowledgeable about football, pits players against each other, elevates the troublemakers, poisons the lockerroom and weakens coaches. He's poison.

We suck. This is embarrassing.

Posted by: nixx46 | November 15, 2010 9:07 PM | Report abuse

Anyone else have the nerve to say this team has already lost fire and support for Shanahan?
How else do you explain that after the bye week, we should be fresh and ready?
Even more, after a loss to Detroit?

What a joke, Shanahan, you've lost this team

on the INT, donovan could have just flipped it to KW35, who gets the 1st pretty eaily, but htries to make something more happen and Moss barely gets a hand on it and it becomes a pick. For $50million -- you want better

I wondered the same thing too. It's possible the TV is muting it. It's possible there are sounds in the stadium to drown them out. I've heard there has been audio enhancement at stupit FedEx field. I wouldn't put it past Snyder.

Again, no one wants to answer my question: why in the h did anyone expect anything different?

Posted by: sugarstreet | November 15, 2010 9:29 PM | Report abuse

Skins wins this year:

Dallas who is 2-7, and we needed a freakish fumble recovery TD for our TD.

Philly- Vick was injured during game

Green Bay- injuries to some starters and FG to win it hit upright, sending game into OT

Chicago- Cutler through 4 INTs to DeAngelo Arsenio Hall.

Have not won a game legitimately all year.
Now getting absolutely killed.
