Skins Next Pick
Might be a little high to take Hampton DL Marcus Dixon. Other DL like Guion from Floridat State and Dre Moore of Maryland could interest the Skins here as well. Safeties like Kareem Moore and Thomas Decoud remain on the board. Most of the corners tagged to go in this range are gone.
C Steve Justice of Wake Forrest or Cody Wallace out of Texas A&M would make sense. A tackel like Anthony Collins out of Kansas too.
Again, think it'd be kinda wacky to take a QB.
If you make me guess, I'll say Steve Justice.

That means they'll take a QB...

Do the Skins have any interest in Justin King, the corner out of Penn State? He's still on the board.

I think they go DL or CB. Bugel takes pride in molding late picks into starters (most recently Heyer, who wasn't even drafted).
Avril or King

We should take Dixon. The only reason he's so low is that he was in jail in what can only be described as evidence of 21st century racism. Everything else about the guy says he's a top prospect who is easily worth a 3rd rounder.

DARELL Robertson DE GT (I think) has had interviews with the skins this offseason.

Tyvon Branch from UCONN
Tyvon Branch
CB | (5'11", 204, 4.309) | CONNECTICUT
Scouts Grade: 80
Smooth opening hips when forced to turn and run, generally reacts well to double moves and fast enough to run with NFL receivers. Changes directions well and shows adequate short-area man-to-man cover skills. Reads quarterback's eyes and isn't afraid to come off assignment to make a play on the ball. Shows excellent range in zone coverage and can cover a deep half of the field. Plays pass to start every down and can be step slow reacting to the run but fills hard when does read run. Has experience lining up at safety and is somewhat versatile. Is a dangerous kickoff return-man, experienced at returning punts and should make immediate contributions on special teams. Started the final 30 games of collegiate career and appears to be durable.

Mannigham? Interesting pick when you have height in Burress.

Seriously, given our needs, and our "GM", I assume this will be a QB, a RB or a TE.

Maybe they'll bring back Bruce Smith to complement Andre Carter? And Jumpy Geathers is a possibility too to upgrade the line. That's what I'm hearing anyway.

Now make a trade with Atlanta to get back in the 3rd round and take Dre Moore

Rinehart is a good pick. Quote from his NFL.com scouting report:
"With his body control and ability to square up and wall off second level defenders, he could bring immediate value with a possible shift in-line."
I like it.

well i know what you're thinking...darn it! they picked an OG...but take heart my sauces are telling me that they've asked rhinehart to lose some weight (like 200 lbs) and work on his speed...

Cindy's Rule for Drafting Offensive Linemen (to be ignored at your own peril):
Go for cornfed Iowans/Nebraskans.
Seriously. Chad Rinehart is from Boone, Iowa. That's all I need to know.

From ESPN Draft Insider:
"Has above-average initial quickness for a guard and can get into position when technique is sound. Plays with a mean streak, delivers a violent punch and can jar defenders at the point of contact. Works from the snap until the whistle and can sustain blocks once locked on."

There are a bunch of very good DTs and OLs available right now -- I'd love to see the Skins make a trade and get another pick or two in the 4th round to clean up.

OK... Corn Fed stud. I like it.... he dominated in Div 1-AA at LEFT TACKLE not Guard. They proably want to make him a guard/tackle reserve if he can move inside. Naval Academey was after him, which generally means he is A) Smart and B) a Good Kid.
