Springs, Washington, Heyer Not Practicing
Practice has begun and Jason Reid reports that, with the team obviously in full pads, Shawn Springs, Marcus Washington and Stephon Heyer are in sweats and not practicing. Jason Taylor and Andre Carter are not practicing, either.
Meanwhile, Steinberg has new Eastern Motors commercials (try to get that song out of your head; just try) and some Vegas odds.

Curious who agrees with me that the Jints might well be 3-1 after Sunday, with Seattle sneaking into town, Hasselbeck getting Branch and Engram back in the lineup, Plaxico suspended...

"Those folks are terrorists with the double move," Blache said. "I don't think they can go to the bathroom straight. Everything is a double move."
Blache is the best quote man in the business.

Yeah, why have they kept Blanche under wraps so long, he's a regular Shecky Greene...

It is certainly a possibility, but I expect the Gints to win it. They have had 2 weeks to prepare, and Seattle doesn't travel well.

Eastern Motors Commercial = Subway commercial
scamp, this entire football team is the best quote in the business. CP, Smoot, Zorn, Blache, Sellars, R. Thomas. Hell even Springs gives one now and then, and he appears to be one of the less vocal ones on the team.

You could be onto something Nate Dogg. Seattle is ranked 9th thru 4 games against the rush, which will likely be Giants' offensive focus without Plax. Getting back two of their top WR's is big too. And Julius Jones has been running well. That said, I denounce your notion for fear of jinxing its likelihood of actually occuring. In fact, I think the Giants will blow the Sea-Chickens back to the Pac NW. You can thank me Sunday evening...

@NateinthePDX - Seattle SUCKS when they go east. Yes, they're receivers are back but they are horrible going out east. So I don't think they have a chance.
