If Carter is out JT goes back to the right side. He got to bring the heat this weekend.

If CP practiced today that has to be a good sign?

Not so good on 59, 64, 99...need 59 and at least 3/4 of the starting D-line to play...

If carter is out, I'm curious to see who is gonna be active for the DE's. Could R. Jackson see his first game of the year?

+++And on this day, of all days, to have his minions come up here with that petty crap...he hasn't changed a bit.

I'd love to have minions. So much better than a posse or an entourage

How to beat the Giants:

Run Blitz...Run Blitz

Play man coverage

Run Blitz...Run blitz

Jason Taylor @ Sam Backer

Run blitz...Run Blitz

Keep Horton in the Box

They have power...no speed

Run Blitz...........

I'm betting CP was dressed in sweats, just observing today and tomorrow.

"Truth,

not trying to pick a fight but you have read that Portis and Moss go on that field every game and consider it "Honoring ST" and stuff like that haven't you? You don't think thats cheesy do you?

Posted by: alex35332"

that's different

this just seems like "Okay, they wanna have a ring ceremony and honor their retired defensive stud, we'll get them when they come back and honor our dead defensive stud."

I dunno, I just think this would be better served on a day where there is no game.

This game may be tilting the Redskins way.

If #17 is out or at less than full strength, that's a good thing. Put Carlos on Hixon, Springs on Toomer and eight in the box.

Need to stop the run. it's like the old Lombardi formula. You go at a team's strenth, not their weakness. When you defeat their strength, it breaks their will.

If the Giants running game is controlled, that just might happen. Need to crowd the line, rotate the D-line and clamp down on the receivers.

On the other side, the 'skins MUST run it down their throats. Run to set up the pass. Try some deep stuff early to put the fear of God in them. (Max protect, one or two receivers deep).

Lets go back to the semi-imaginative running game. Plain old power running won't do. Need some deception.

Throw to Sellers. It gives the Giants something to think about.

Do some no-huddle. Anything to distract them and keep them off guard.

Hit like crazy and WIN the turnoever game.

On and if it'snot asking too much, maybe THIS week one of the redskins 2nd rounders could have a breakout game?

There. That's not asking much...

Thoughts?

I'm glad Griff made it to the field, and that CP is practicing.

Are we ever going to see Chris Wilson on the edge. It seemed like he got to the QB with some regularity when he was in last season...

Could potentially spell Carter at least, right? What are his chances? How has he been in practice? Does Blache just not favor him the way Gregggggg did?

Run D will be better with Demetric Evans getting the majority of snaps rather than JT.

Jasno's earlier comments on blitzing Manning were instructive. Manning sucks under pressure.

Seems the consensus up here that we stack the box and take the risk on man coverage. I'm on board.

Hoping that a healthy Jason Taylor, who the jints don't have much experience with, can return to form this week. Time for him to be a game changer again.

Pretty sure they're doing it this weekend since it's the closest home game to the 1-year mark since his death...not as some sort of "gotcha back" at the Gints.

cork, yesterday you all but threw the towel in if Fletch wasn't playing, and today you actually sound positive, medicated, if you will. You're not your usual, sour, nasty, petty, holier-than-thou, arrogant, demeaning, negative self.

You feeling ok???

It would be nice to know what has Boschetti been doing since he was released in Aug and what kind of shape is he in

If there was ever a game for Jay-Tay to make his mark, this is it....*

*And by this I mean importance, not match up wise. Match up wise this game is a nightmare for Jay-Taylor.

It has been reported that Lavar Arrington has been signed and is on the practice field wearing shells and shorts. In other news, Reggie White has been signed to the practice squad.

must've missed the memo Reggie White is dead? Unfortunately the hatred he had lives on with others.

Thanks 4-12. I really didn't think it was that hard to figure it out but I guess to some it was.

Why does it need to be on the "anniversary" of his death?

I guess I'm in the minority here but I don't like that our fans are saying "They should be extra amped up because it's in memory of Sean Taylor." That's stupid and it cheapens it so some sort of gimmick.

so save your smart *** comments, it's my opinion

Posted by: TheTruth11 | November 26, 2008 2:26 PM | Report abuse

Important game? Duh. Each player enter each play telling Sean Taylor that he will be proud. Emotion, motivation and playing like its a Super Bowl can beat Giants. I agree with stopping run with 8 up and man coverage. After a few sacks Giant's QB will be erratic and not ecstatic.
