The Rooster Hits The Big Time

Our guy Ross "The Rooster" Tucker did a piece for SI that every football fan, sports fan, or, anyone interested in the human side of pro athletics, must read.

I got to know Ross a bit in the preseason and the guy has a big future beyond football. As he says in the story, the Redskins were his first NFL team and last, as a neck injury will end any hopes he had of playing again. Washington released him a few weeks ago.

We spoke a decent amount about life after football during camp and this guy would do a tremendous job in the media whether writing or broadcasting (Cindy, put this dude on the payroll; I'll show him the ropes).
