The Skinny on Skins Camp

Some of this has been reported, but the Redskins just e-mailed us the detailed training camp info.

As in the past at Redskins Park, there will be no bleachers; fans should bring lawn chairs or blankets to sit on. These items are prohibited: alcohol and illicit drugs, weapons, firearms, glass bottles, video cameras and animals (except for certified guide dogs assisting disabled fans).
There is no admission fee for practices open to the public and parking lots will open about an hour-to-90 minutes before the start of each open practice. Gates will open about an hour before practice.

Nine practices will be open to the public. They'll be held daily starting July 20.
July 20, 21, 22, 23, 24, 25, 27 and 28 practices will be held at 8:30 a.m.
On July 26, an intrasquad scrimmage will be open to the public at 2 p.m.

However, please note that times are subject to change; check the team's hotline at 703-726-7411 (it will be working July 14) before you venture to Redskins Park. Camp, as such, will end July 28.

On most afternoons, the team also plans a 2 or 3 p.m.practice that will be open only to the media. As with the past two years, we'll give you blog updates from those.
