Ravens Lead 17-0 after 3 Quarters

It's going to be difficult to overcome this deficit unless the Ravens go turnover crazy and beat themselves.

Redskins badly need seven points here and not three. Jim Zorn might want to try something like that pretty misdirection play to Todd Heap that set up the field goal last quarter. Maybe try a trick play here.

Clinton Portis is beat up and out of the game again. Chris Horton is out with a stinger and his return is questionable. (And Chris Samuels just limped off at the start of the fourth quarter.)

It would take quite a comeback, but who knows? A TD here could change the game.

SUISHAM IS MY GOD

Posted by: austin987654 | December 7, 2008 10:45 PM | Report abuse

this team is dreadful

Posted by: 1buj | December 7, 2008 10:45 PM | Report abuse

We have to give Geisinger help there.

What is wrong with Jansen exactly.

Miracle that Suisham hit that.

Posted by: abtassler | December 7, 2008 10:46 PM | Report abuse

Who is the white guy playing LT ?

Posted by: Daggarforracialjustice | December 7, 2008 10:46 PM | Report abuse

This season is open. I guess that I'll be doing other things the last three weeks of the season.

lol

this is just a pitiful display

I'm getting so sick of this crap. And it's not the QB, not the head coach, it's the BLEEPING OFFENSIVE LINE

Posted by: TheTruth11 | December 7, 2008 10:46 PM | Report abuse

17-3. woo-hoo!

I saw Geisinger come into the game and thought to myself: Who the hell is this pudgeball?

We're screwed now.

Posted by: MrRedskin21 | December 7, 2008 10:47 PM | Report abuse

So here's the deal:

Bengals scored 10 points on this team
Browns scored 10 points on this team
Steelers scored 23 on this team
Titans scored 13 on this team
Colts scored 31 on this team
Dolphins scored 13 on this team
Effin' Raiders scored 10 on this team
Browns scored 27 on this team
Texans scored 13 on this team
Giants scored 30 on this team
Eagles scored 7 on this team
Bengals scored 3 on this team

We'd better score at least 10 or we're as bad as the Bengals!!!

Posted by: davebutz | December 7, 2008 10:47 PM | Report abuse

Why are they doing play action? There's no running game. Go to shotgun and be done with it!!

Posted by: ga8085 | December 7, 2008 10:47 PM | Report abuse

You put a center at LT without help !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! FIRE ZORN !!!!!!!!!!!!!

Posted by: Daggarforracialjustice | December 7, 2008 10:48 PM | Report abuse

So, 3-17... there's no life in these players. They look indifferent to what's happening around. Frankly, I think this is Zorn's failure, more than anybody else's. He's just lost, having no grip of the situation...

Posted by: fnralch | December 7, 2008 10:48 PM | Report abuse

yeah, let's blame this on lack of a pass rush. sheesh!

Posted by: Curzon417 | December 7, 2008 10:46 PM

Posted by: Curzon417 | December 7, 2008 10:48 PM | Report abuse

Because shotgun makes too much sense. We're sad, look at the picks we've traded away and why we did...

THIS IS INSANE......... I REALLY LIKE ZORN BUT HE'S NOT PAYING ATTENTION TO THE GAME....

can someone check and make sure he's watching the same game???

CLEGG

Posted by: michael_b_clegg | December 7, 2008 10:49 PM | Report abuse

JLC please call DAnny for a one on one. Maybe you can get some inside ifno on when there going to fire "ZORN"

Posted by: Daggarforracialjustice | December 7, 2008 10:49 PM | Report abuse

Unbelievable they have less than 200 yards of offense and are ahead by 14.....

Posted by: davebutz | December 7, 2008 10:49 PM | Report abuse

Geisinger will save the day. He comes in and BOOM - we score.

Posted by: austin987654 | December 7, 2008 10:50 PM | Report abuse

Pick of Zorny as hc and oc is looking so pathetic right now next to harbaugh!!!!! The ineptness continues!

Posted by: dealer1 | December 7, 2008 10:50 PM | Report abuse

Campbell needs to be replaced! Maybe the Coach too! This offense is bad

Posted by: LongTimeSkinsFan | December 7, 2008 10:50 PM | Report abuse

there's no way Campbell can be blamed for this offense's lack of production. just look at the time Flacco has to throw, and look at the time Campbell has. campbell cant even finish his drop back and step up to make the throw without a barrage of D-linemen in his face, and Flacco has time for his routes to develop, time to realize his receivers are covered, scramble, and STILL throw it to someone else.

Posted by: kman2 | December 7, 2008 10:50 PM | Report abuse

This season's over. I guess that I'm going to spend the remaining weeks of the season doing something else. Or I may still come here just to watch CIN, PHL, and SF beat us.

Posted by: dealer1 | December 7, 2008 10:51 PM | Report abuse

Oh he's in the game but like Spurrier his thinking is superior to any defense. Ahh Patrick Ramsey all over again...

Posted by: bienbo | December 7, 2008 10:52 PM | Report abuse

Sign Hall and Horton to long term deals!

Posted by: rickyroge | December 7, 2008 10:52 PM | Report abuse

Posted by: Daggarforracialjustice | December 7, 2008 10:52 PM | Report abuse

I pray they rule him down. I can't watch Campbell career end. This is the worst offense in teh NFL hands down.

Posted by: Pleepleus | December 7, 2008 10:52 PM | Report abuse

that was one of the classic 'adding insult to injury' ever--McGahee fumbles, gets hurt AND his pants get pulled down, showing upper crack. Wow.

uhhhhhhhhh, screwed by the REFS AGAIN????

Posted by: michael_b_clegg | December 7, 2008 10:53 PM | Report abuse

Posted by: ga8085 | December 7, 2008 10:53 PM | Report abuse

well will hey be consistant?

Posted by: chrislarry | December 7, 2008 10:54 PM | Report abuse

This line will go down as one of the all time worst. I feel bad for Jason's family that has to watch him get injured beyond repair.

Posted by: Pleepleus | December 7, 2008 10:54 PM | Report abuse

Stop with the Campbell talk! Are you watching the game? There is no run game because they can not make a hole and they can not block for Jason. He has 2 seconds, Flacco sits back there long enough for tea.

Put the Rookie WR's in.

Posted by: rickyroge | December 7, 2008 10:56 PM | Report abuse

Posted by: bangkokben | December 7, 2008 10:56 PM | Report abuse

17-6 is the outcome.

Posted by: jiacinto | December 7, 2008 10:57 PM | Report abuse

I would go for an FG here. There is plenty of time left in the 4th.

Posted by: jiacinto | December 7, 2008 10:58 PM | Report abuse

let's see what masterful play we can get

it has to go to either COOLEY or BIG MIKE

Posted by: TheTruth11 | December 7, 2008 10:58 PM | Report abuse

so they call 3 plays for Betts inside the 10. When did he become the best offensive option?

Posted by: 1buj | December 7, 2008 10:58 PM | Report abuse

He threw a TD pass

Posted by: must_be_eagles_fans | December 7, 2008 11:01 PM | Report abuse

Oh wait we can put in strong arm and brilliant Todd Collins in, haha.

Colt, oh nah, remember the last time he faced a real defense and that was in college.....

C. Brennan 22/38 169 4.4 0 3

As for Campbell:
Auburn quarterback Jason Campbell completed 11 of 16 passes for 189 yards, one touchdown, and one interception,[67] and was named the game's most valuable player of the Sugar Bowl against VT.

Posted by: bienbo | December 7, 2008 11:03 PM | Report abuse

Dammit Campbell. That TD pass was high. I can't believe we could expect our receivers to make a catch like that - that's the first one this year. Get Collins warmed up.

Posted by: PrisonMike | December 7, 2008 11:03 PM | Report abuse

It's about time!

Posted by: LongTimeSkinsFan | December 7, 2008 11:03 PM | Report abuse

LongTimeSkinsFan, who do you think we should put in that will be able to throw the ball?

Campbell just threw a TD. Still the blame?

Sweet arm baby, let it go. He's no Joe T, at least not yet..

Posted by: bienbo | December 7, 2008 11:05 PM | Report abuse

Collins? He floats the ball like Mary Poppins!!

Posted by: bienbo | December 7, 2008 11:06 PM | Report abuse

You Auburn fans make me sick....this is the NFL. Colt did it on his own in college and JC had a little more help. Don't get me wrong I want JC to do good but he has been stinking for a while now!

Posted by: LongTimeSkinsFan | December 7, 2008 11:11 PM | Report abuse

So much for that Auburn QB that won the Sugar Bowl...Huh! Time to go to bed! I'd like to see COLT! He can't do any worse than JC.

Posted by: LongTimeSkinsFan | December 7, 2008 11:17 PM | Report abuse

Bring back Norv! Bring back anyone from the O Line under 30 (oh wait, that's no one)....

Posted by: Fuzzy21 | December 7, 2008 11:22 PM | Report abuse

Posted by: Fuzzy21 | December 7, 2008 11:23 PM | Report abuse

Posted by: Fuzzy21 | December 7, 2008 11:25 PM | Report abuse

Hello last place.

God we suck.

Posted by: stylesmcfresh | December 7, 2008 11:25 PM | Report abuse

Might as well lose the last 3 and go for the higher pick...so we can draft another TE!!

Posted by: Fuzzy21 | December 7, 2008 11:27 PM | Report abuse

there's no way Campbell can be blamed for this offense's lack of production

Campbell Sucks!

Posted by: LongTimeSkinsFan | December 7, 2008 11:28 PM | Report abuse

Big question: will sportswriters get to the bottom of this mess? Or peddle the same blandness?
