Trent Williams confident he'll play Sunday
After sitting out the last two games, rookie left tackle Trent Williams plans to play against the Green Bay Packers, he said Wednesday after practice at Redskins Park.
Williams is ready to go after recovering from knee and toe injuries, and said he's "very confident" he will play Sunday at FedEx Field. Although Williams did not "want to put a percentage on" whether he would play, he said he was "pretty confident."
Williams, who said each of the past two weeks that he believed he would play, suffered the injuries while pass blocking against Pro Bowl defensive end Mario Williams in the Redskins Week 2 loss to Houston. Williams was listed as limited on the Redskins' injury report and "he didn't do everything" in practice, Coach Mike Shanahan said.
"He was limited, but he tried to do everything," Shanahan said.
"I thought for the first day back in a couple of weeks, he did some good things," Shanahan said of the fourth overall draft pick. "He's not there yet, but hopefully he'll get there in the next couple of days."

It's been awhile, but they started off 2-1 in the NFC East in Zorn's fist year...

My wife bugged me to become more vegetarian. So now we frequently have vegan dinners - no meat. In order to maintain proper levels of protein intake for nutritional needs we almost always have some sort of bean preparation with the meal. Now my wife is bugging me about how the house smells like a coal mine after these meals. There's just no pleasing some people, is there?

Of Williams, "He was limited, but he tried to do everything," Shanahan said. Pointing across the field at Stephon Heyer working alone against a practice dummy he added, "even if the kid's toe swells up like a ballpark frank, he's damn sight better than THAT holding penalty turnstile! Uh,
we are off the record, right?"

I hope they don't rush this guy back if he's not 100%...You need look no further than Heyers performance the last 2 weeks to understand how important Williams is to this line.

Definitely can't please all people, Franco, that's for sure.
If you really want to get the wife back, start eating boiled eggwhites as a way to increase protein intake (try eating 10 a day or so).
Those farts will make the wife want to sleep outside in the shed if you get her with a dutch oven a few times.

Our line goes from shakey at best, to above average with Williams in there. We need him playing the next few games to have a chance.
