Updates by Blog and by Tweet, by Jove
You may have heard of the epic #fail of social media the last couple of days...just in time to put a damper on Fan Appreciation Day tweets. Undeterred, J Reid (@JReidPost), Rick Maese (@Rick Maese) and Dan Steinberg (@dcsportsbog) will give it another try at the intrasquad scrimmage today at Redskins Park. Will it work? Who knows? Just hang out here and we'll update you by tweet and by blog.

As long as Redskins Insider is up and running -- by which I mean its software is losing no more than ~15% of the type offered up by us hamsters -- I think those of us who are not on the scene in Assburn will be well informed about this critically important scrimmage.

I'll be keeping one eye on the scrimmage updates, and the other on the Felicia updates. I think we are merely in for a rainy windy day on Tuesday.

Twitter is a disaster. The service is asinine, the website is pathetic, and it's run by imbeciles.
You have a great product at Redskins Insider. Why change it around just to get on the hype-fueled bandwagon? The media's love affair with Twitter is baffling since, by nature, "tweets" oversimplify any real story. Why limit yourself to 140 characters?
Twitter is a sorry excuse for a real blog entry.

Anybody notice anything about our draft choices other than Orakpo and Barnes? They at camp?
