Think maybe we can get a report on how badly he is injured before conjecturing over fashion statements?
Really?

We're looking awesome! Let's keep working on optimizing our draft position!

i know you guys are bummed. i'm bummed. but think about jc's girlfriend...she was the prom queen...i mean miss dc...she coulda had anyone within her 15 minutes of fame and she picked jason!!!! that was once in a lifetime thing. for us qb's come and go but for her that's it. she's actually gonna have to work for living now. poor thing. she seemed sweet.

If I was shacked up with Chris Cooley's wife, I'd go blonde too, and I'm a brotha!

campbell supporters time to give up the ghost, he's just not a professional qb at the NFL level....execution, from the qb spot continues to be a problem, jc, despite his 5th year in the nfl has no feel for the game, has no ability to step and slide to feel pressure, one throw looks like a million bucks the next he's playing scared, he's the only qb who plays worried about the rush...he looks at his primary for not even a second, doesn't bother with the secondary, and just goes to the checkdown....he's just awful...

If I were a ProBowl TE on this joke of a team, I'd take a hammer to my own foot and sit out the season.

And JC didn't even step up properly in the pocket on the first drive. And he still can't slide, which bothers the heck outta me every single time. Which starting QB doesn't know how to slide properly. I thought Zorn thought him how to. One day he's gonna seriously get hurt.

Cooley, broken foot. Looks like you had better get used to him because ready or not the Fred Davis era has just begun.
Posted by: periculum
I've been hoping sleepy would over take Cooley for some time now. He's faster and has more upside, at least that's what I hope. Cooley catches everything but is SLOW and can't block a ray of sunlight.

Broken foot is better than torn Achilles. That was my fear after watching how he went down. In any event, he is done at least until mid December, and there will most likely be no need for him to come back this year.

If it has to get ugly I vote for a 2-14 season. That will totally discredit Cerrato and Snyder.
Posted by: jiacinto | October 26, 2009 10:24 PM | Report abuse
i've never in my life heard/seen a qb who was scared of the rush, that at times wasn't there??...sorry, don't critisize the receivers until we get a real qb in here, who isn't playing scared....the primary gets not even a second, NOT a second to get into their route, and JC is already onto the next guy....sucks...

I thought that JC looked terrible tonight, what with the interception, 2 fumbles, missed TD to Moss, and off target throws, but then I realized he is completing 63% of his passes so he must be having a great night.

Given the craptacular performance by the team I am fine with the polls.
What else do you want . . .a synopsis from Da Mayor telling us how craptastic the first half was for the offense and the key mistakes made including Burnt Toast #22?
Nah I'll vote what else is there to do?
My question - are the fans letting Mr. Snyder have it?

I guess it's safe to say that problems run deeper than play-calling, eh?
Posted by: p1funk | October 26, 2009 10:25 PM | Report abuse
Pretty rough when Lions fans start sending consoling emails. They are bummed we have the tiebreaker for the top pick.
Wow. January of '92 seems like a very, very long time ago all of a sudden.

Not smart polling this evening, WP.
Really amateur hour.
Hey, but it makes you qualified to play O-line for the Skins.

The offense is the problem here. In the offseason, with perhaps the exception of Chris Cooley, they need to trade their players away for whatever they can get.

coc o,
you must be kidding! the playcalling isn't any better, actually never been the true problem. the lack of execution is the problem. the lack of talent at QB too

We lose Cooley; Mr Dependable and you are asking us what we think of his hair color, rather than being an Insider and finding out for us what has ACTUALLY TRANSPIRED.

What bothers me even more is that there seems to be no fight on the part of the offense. They aren't even trying. It's like they don't care anymore.
