Washington Reports Hamstring Felt Fine

From Barry Svrluga:

Linebacker Marcus Washington, who did not practice all week because of a hamstring strain that had already kept him out of two games this season, started and played regularly. He made eight tackles, five of them unassisted, including two for losses. Only safety Chris Horton (nine) and linebacker London Fletcher (eight) were credited with as many tackles as Washington.

"It felt fine," Washington said. "I was able to pretty much go full speed, really didn't have any problems out of it. It didn't really catch any. It felt good."

Good thing he was healthy - otherwise the Skins would have lost at home against the winless Rams.

Cindy or JLC or whoever knows, who failed to blitz on that Avery catch? Blache said the pass isn't thrown or is at least hurried of the blitzer came.

that was pathetic...waaaay to conservative on offence...i dont mean run less pass more but a team like that we dont need to control the clock on...there is nothing wrong with the quick score...we just need to put up points...no urgency to score points at all...we need to be more agressive in the passing game...should be running 4 receiver sets and punnishing battered secondaries...as well as a punch them in the mouth running game...

we basically shortened the game for the rams and didnt go for or give ourselves enough time to put them away...

especially in lieu of the turnovers!!!
