McNabb chokes again.

This is a real Rorshacht test for delusional posters. Canadian teams wouldn't give up a mid-rounder for Betts. Heck, the Arena League wouldn't give up a mid-rounder for Betts and they're out of business.

The ONLY offer to date is The Raiders, who offered the 'skins a ninth rounder for Betts and the Rights to Billy Kilmer.

There's only one way to pull this off. Send a fleet of hookers to other owner's suites and catch them in an unspeakable act with a Hoo-ha cam.

Posted by: TheCork | January 18, 2009 12:01 PM |

At least we agree on something. I was trying to tell people the other day that with the glut of RB's out there and with Betts only having 1 1000 yard season he ain't worth poo on the trade market. Anyone who thinks we'll get a midrounder for him is straight nuts.

How about Peppers? Can we afford him?

Posted by: bienbo | January 18, 2009 4:12 PM | Report abuse

Wow.

The Eagles are every bit the bums we know them to be. Fitz w/ 3 TDs in the first half? Edge is ripping oof like 10 yards a carry? Is someone coordinating a defense over there?

Posted by: p1funk | January 18, 2009 4:14 PM | Report abuse

Bad call.

Bad!

Hey Post! The "Redskins Ticket Prices Unchanged" links not to that, but to something else. Please fixit!!

That's not true...denver wanted him pretty bad at one point as well....Also they probably still would trade for Betts...New coach rebuliding and they need RBs...bigtime

That's whatcha want to call yer Hyperbole. See, there IS no NFL ninth round?

If someone is crazy enough to give up a sixth for Betts, take it.

When did Denver want him "pretty bad"? I think we signed him to a 4 year contract for something like $10mill. That's not exactly cap-busting figures...if Denver wanted him "pretty bad" they could have offered him something.

Besides, Denver has plenty of young RBs to check out, the problem is they got injured this season; not to mention a draft...it's not like he's gonna "rebuild" around an oft-injured career backup.

I'd like to change my vote above (Which team will win the NFC Championship game?) from one vote for Arizona to 2 votes for Arizona.

Don't misunderestimate Arizona's ability to completely blow this.

"every bit the bums we knew them to be..."

Yeah, they haven't played well for most of this game, but ummmm, the Eagles are playing for the NFC title... playing in the NFC title game for, like, the fifth time in eight years or something... when was the last time the Redskins played for the NFC title?

O to root for a team of "bums" like these guys... *sigh*

Posted by: NateinthePDX | January 18, 2009 5:16 PM | Report abuse

What happened to the Zona O line all of a sudden? Someone give them a bunch of Rufies at halftime?

I believe my comment at January 18, 2009 4:59 PM changed the tide of this game. Or its diapers, anyways.

They aren't "bums," they're chokers (which is even worse).

5 NFC championship game trips, 4 losses, and one win (followed by a loss in the SB when McChoker puked).

Who wants to root for a team that TEASES fans like that again and again.

That's why they had 6 pts going into the 3rd Q, eh?

Or do you just wait until the game has changed to make your remarks?

Read the timestamp next time, Skippy.

Tons of time throwing the INT and coughing the ball up. Yeah. Right.

And all those rushing yards Westbrook had in the first-half; man, that O-line was really blowing the Cards D-line off the ball, eh?

You're a freakin moron.

Like the new name though.

That 3rd down pass was 'orrible. On 4th, it was a combination of passing interference/drop.

And so it goes, I was hoping for a tie.

I hope Donovan McChoke gets cut, blows all his money on crack, and ends up giving bj's behind Denny's for pocket change.

Well good for the Cards. They flat-out beat the Eagles.

Posted by: talent_evaluator | January 18, 2009 6:22 PM | Report abuse

A round of golf claps for the Eagles... lest we forget, they kept the Cowboys out of the playoffs and eliminated the Giants last week. So they did the whole world two big favors.

So it's the Cardinals, then. Huh.

I would take him if he can bring Warner and Fitzgerald along with him. That offense disappeared for a while but when it was working it was a thing of beauty.

are the redskins interested in Bruce Allen?

explain , how can hall of fame Joe Gibbs give up play calling and Jim Zorn is allowed to call plays are the redskins in the market for a O-coordinater?

Why is no one willing to give McNabb any credit for bringing his team this far? Ok, so yeah, he threw a bad pass on 3rd down. Yeah, ok, so he might have "choked." Maybe. But why does no one give him any credit for getting his team to Arizona? I am no expert on the Eagles, but I do think he deserves some credit. Everyone just tears him apart. I don't think he deserves it.

He deserves it because he's a whiny d-bag. Why should we give him credit for anything when he didn't give us credit for beating him. Twice.

He`s been to the NFC Championship game five times and lost four times. He`s been to the Super Bowl once and lost. He`s basically gone a long way on the Eagles defense. Sure, he`s better than Romo, but then so is Todd Collins.

Posted by: talent_evaluator | January 18, 2009 7:30 PM | Report abuse
