But, I don't think you can blame AP too much. He didn't bring the gun with him. And what he did after the fact and why is debateble at this point until what his intent was more clearer.....

That said, Plax is Pacman Jones Stupid.......

Posted by: 4thFloor | December 2, 2008 2:51 PM

Yeah, but if he took possession of the gun in order to hide it to cover for his boy then he's violating the same law that Plax did.

AP did hire a lawyer for a reason.

"Anyone know why Smoot was covering Toomer on that TD? We have Springs, Rogers and Hall. Seems like Smoot is 3rd or 4th in that group. So why is he man coverage on their #1 guy?

Posted by: zcezcest1"

Looked like we started the game with Rogers and Smoot as the top 2 "outside" corners, Springs was the slot man, and Hall was the dimeback.

After that play, Hall replaced Smoot. I suspect that's how we play the rest of the season.

REDSKINS FANS!!

every thurs evening...terrell suggs does his espn radio show at michaels pub in columbia. he discusses the upcoming game and there are a decent amount of ravens fans. The show is broadcast live and u can even ask questions on air, I am planning to go to the radio show with my redskins jersey underneath a tshirt...and i'm going to get on the mic like i'm going to ask terrell suggs a question...but once I get on the mic...i'm gonna rip off the tshirt and go wild and let him know that he and the rest of his crew will get run over this weekend...i think it would be great if we could get a good redskins showing out there thurs evening....lets show everyone how stupid it is to be a ravens fan...i hate ravens fans...lets take over their show...who is down?!?!

Posted by: jasonma1 | December 2, 2008 3:18 PM | Report abuse

Can't keep up with all these posts. Are you guys over the ugliness that was Sunday's game?

Posted by: Redcoat | December 2, 2008 3:20 PM | Report abuse

Anyone in the mood to go taunt T-Suggs?

Can we get this guy's name? I want to be sure to check for him in the Darwin Awards at the end of this year ...

We'll have fewer updates today, btw; we have a couple of things in the hopper for tomorrow morning.

Posted by: CindyBoren | December 2, 2008 3:22 PM | Report abuse

How many times did you vote, Jasno ;-p

Nice to see a majority of us picking the skins, slight though it is.

Now why a majority don't think we can make the playoffs w/ B-more being our most difficult game 'till then... I dunno. So much for emotionalism, eh?

C'mon! 4 & 0 to finish the season.

Just Win, guys... Just Win

(tip 'o tha keypad to d.Green!)

Hi TheCindy! Good to 'see' you again. How about them Fins eh? Who'd have thought 7-5 could be so exciting!

rc, how goes your business??

Posted by: BeantownGreg | December 2, 2008 3:26 PM | Report abuse

ummm........... With the way things are going for the skins right now, if there was a button for Ravens by +42 I probably would have chosen that one.

Better yet, tomorrow should have a poll on how few points the skins will score.

Posted by: REDneckSKINhead | December 2, 2008 3:28 PM | Report abuse

7-5 isn't exciting, Redcoat, it's misery, utter despair.

Oh, you're not talking about the Redskins.

Posted by: NateinthePDX | December 2, 2008 3:32 PM | Report abuse

Hi Greg, it goes well. I'm billable mostly, chasing payment sometimes (ugh) and seeking new projects the rest of the time.

So are you guys going to put out a 'shadow' team for the Balmer game? In soccer they have rules to forbid that sort of thing - at least in theory - but teams get around it with sicknotes from the Doc. How about in the NFL?

Personally I want the Skins to win so that the Fins can draw level with them (although losing the tiebreak so far) in the AFC playoff race.

Posted by: Redcoat | December 2, 2008 3:32 PM | Report abuse

0-12 was misery Nate... THIS is a cake walk.

Posted by: Redcoat | December 2, 2008 3:34 PM | Report abuse

Redcoaut!!!! What a delight to see you bygo again. Congrats on the Fish, er, Mammals, er, Dolphins.

Posted by: CindyBoren | December 2, 2008 3:37 PM | Report abuse

Good to hear its going well for you guys. Do you have any type of software that can convert your current billables from being paid in monetary amounts to "bonus points"??

Posted by: BeantownGreg | December 2, 2008 3:38 PM | Report abuse

I think the ravens could throw their jerseys out on the field and the redskins still couldn't score.

Posted by: peterandmeredith | December 2, 2008 3:43 PM | Report abuse

I prefer 'Cetaceans' TheCindy.

I'm sorry Greg can't help you there. I did hear of some software to do that, I believe it was being marketed out of Ethiopia and you had to send them your bank details to get a copy?

Have you considered papering all the walls in your house with them? Or maybe even geting them shredded and then letting them rot down for compost?

Posted by: Redcoat | December 2, 2008 3:44 PM | Report abuse

I wonder how many Redskins cry when they get a look at the Ravens.

Posted by: peterandmeredith | December 2, 2008 3:45 PM | Report abuse

Poor little Deadskin fans their playoff hopes are crushed. And they can blame Vinnie the Gerbil for it.

Deadskins wont in another game all season and they won score more than a touchdown in each of their last four games.

Danny Boy will can Zorn and make a run for the Chin. He wont get them and will hire Charlie Wise

Posted by: omarthetentmaker | December 2, 2008 3:45 PM | Report abuse

this team has exceeded everyone's expectations. let's not forget that. i bet they miss the playoffs, but with hopefully a younger line next year, and another season for the offense to gel into this system, they could be strong next season. oh yeah, and those WRs that can't catch a cold might be able to finally be productive with a full preseason to train into comfortably.

face it skins nation. the skins aren't good enough for the playoffs this year. and if they get in somehow, they will be a first round exit.

Not only was this post authentic frontier gibberish, it expresses a courage that is little seen in this day and age.

Posted by: Redcoat | December 2, 2008 3:47 PM | Report abuse

Ravens could let us get to the redzone each drive and we still could not score.

Posted by: alex35332 | December 2, 2008 3:50 PM | Report abuse

Greg - word on the Street (Wall Street) is that you should hang onto your bonus points - they are going to make a huge comeback in several months when the Washington Post is purchased by Rupert Murdoch

Godspeed jasonma1!

Posted by: mack1 | December 2, 2008 4:03 PM | Report abuse

Please! whomever is in charge should get rid of this 'offensive' line for a true NFL caliber line before Clinton Portis and Jason Campbell gets killed. Is it my imagination or am I right to say that the running game and the on field assassination of Jason Campbell began couple of games after the insertion of Jon Jensen into the smelly offensive line?

Posted by: abxinc | December 2, 2008 4:03 PM | Report abuse

Cindy, have Portis and the others that are injured been in for treatment today, or did they take a full day from the park?

Posted by: redryan400 | December 2, 2008 4:03 PM | Report abuse

A serious question. with four games left who will the Detroit Lions beat or will they go 0-16. A dude from the League said the saints. I doubt that they will stop Air Brees.

The Packers. Their year is long done by then and they are resting guys and taking a look at others for next year.

Unless of course they care enough to want Detroit to go 0-16...

Ouch. Your very own 'Kobayashi Maru'?

Well, all I can suggest then is;

a) Pray on it (if you do that stuff).
b) Meditate on it (irregardless of a.)
c) Talk with people whose thoughts and opinions you value.
d) Then make up your own mind on a plan of action.

Good luck Alex. Let me know if you need a sounding board.
