Too funny how fickle fans are... last week it was CHAAAAAAAAAAAAAASSSSSSSSSEE!!!

No way we keep Wynn and dump Jackson and Buzbee.... one of these young guys will stay and likely Jackson.

one thing this poll showed is that colt's backers are absolutely blind to his faults. the thing they admire so much, his 'mental acuity, quick decision making, sidearm throwing' is what kills him when he's in. he's clearly been outplayed by the new guy this preaseason. CLEARLY. but i understand: they've made so much noise abt him that to switch now would really indicate where they're coming from: and that is from out in left field. Go Skins!

re-post with edit.

"You're retarted."

Hey this is a great way around being insensitive using retarded, but still having a similar type word. Plus to be retarted, sounds odd. Thanks BMAC!

Posted by: chrislarry | September 3, 2009 11:04 PM | Report abuse

poor taste, no doubt. I work with a lot of disabilities as part of being a member of my profession. So does my wife, particularly with children.

But we're of a certain age (32). When we were kids, calling someone else "retarded" meant you were calling them the second worst kind of dipsh!t. I had a cousin with severe CP, and I never once thought of any correlation with this insult. Ignorance on my part, I own that.

CL, or whomever may have a child with any disability: Take it with a grain of salt. You're already the better man.

That being said, full tard (or any variation thereof, for all you young lawyer dipsh!ts) is off limits out of respect. IMVHO

worrying about the THIRD (3rd) QB is RETARTED!!!

J Campbell is going to prove everyone wrong this year. I can't wait...

C Daniel is a bum...there is a reason NO ONE drafted him.

Brennan is a bum, too, now. BUT, he may be a 2nd stringer in the league later.

Lets go Skins!

Finally, we are a week away from some real game action.

So because I stated truth, I'm a f*ckwad??

Im not hyped...just stating truth. Why are Skins fans worried about a 3rd string QB? Does this happen all around the league?

just wondering

peaceful2008 with an amendment by way of the CORK:

Gotta' believe DANIELS goes to the practice squad unless COLT can't go due to injury.

ALRIDGE and MASON get cut. CARTWRIGHT had to play for a job and succeeded. DORSEY no.

MARKO MITCHELL is DA" MAN!!!! ELOI, no despite his pretty catch near the end of the game. HACKETT, no.

AGNONE gets cut. YODER makes it, barely. DAVIS on the 53 man. God, I hope COOLEY doesn't get hurt.

MONTGOMERY played well despite THEISMANN's one sour note. BATISTE did O.K. as did RINEHART, but neither E. WILLIAMS or M. WILLIAMS looked good. BRIDGES a-a-a-n-n-n-h, better but not great. Everybody but MONTGOMERY looked outclassed by JAGS 1st team d.

Practice squad for GLENN. YOUNG gets cut unless he can be parked in the taxi zone. THOMAS makes the team. HENSON makes the squad as well.

ROB JACKSON played himself a game and might nose out RENALDO WYNN. BUZBEE gets cut. JARMON makes the 53 squad. CHRIS WILSON went from the bubble to a gamer. DIXON goes to the practice squad.

Nobody in the defensive secondary was consistantly good except REED DOUGHTRY. TRYON played like a rookie with potential something we didn't see at all last year. 2008 he was just a rookie. BARNES makes the team because he's a third round choice. HOLMES up and down as well. Probably doesn't nose out K. MOORE.

RAYNOR almost shanked BOTH X-points. He has the stronger leg on kick-offs but I question his accuracy on field goals. SUISHAM continues to provide weak kick-offs and of course last year's accuracy brought on this competition in the first place. Nothing was answered in my mind. Frankly. I want the JACKSONVILLE kicker. I thought him far superior to either of our contestants.

not debating pros/cons of 3rd QB here.

I now prefer retarted. I can't decided if it means more fruit pie desert or a reformed floozy who falls off the wagon and has again become a tart. Or is the second bite of sour candy? Is full tart something like the girlfriend experience. So many possibilities.

TampaBayareaRedskinsfan it is my belief that it is a happy accident!

Posted by: chrislarry | September 3, 2009 11:58 PM | Report abuse

I didn't watch the game, but from the talking heads this is what I gather:

Redskins used this game to evaluate the fringe players. Some helped themselves to make the roster and some made it easy for the coaches to cut them.

Colt and Chase are a long way from probowl. Thank god we have JC and TC for now. The quiet front from the Cult-of-Colters leads me to believe that we are better off with Chase as our 3rd QB.

And it seems like the Redskins failed to play as if this was the superbowl to please the fans (thank god for that)

10-6 up to 12-4 in 2009. For the rest of you haters, Baltimore loves you.

Posted by: peaceful2008 | September 3, 2009 11:59 PM | Report abuse

don't know what "happy accident" means so i'll just let it go.

SO PLEASE..someone tell me how the game went tonight OUTSIDE of the scre?

Couldn't watch or listen to the game.

Who looked good? Who deserves a spot? Who needs to be cut?

Good Night RI faithful.

I have scored the LAST post on the previous 3 threads.

If I come back here tomorrow and see that my accomplishments have been tampered with, someone's gonna have some splaining to do; and it's not gonna be Lucy.

Do I make myself crystal clear?

Putting Daniels on the practice squad, and "cutting" Wynn offers the least chance of losing either. Tell Wynn you want him back when the first DL goes down.

They'll keep Betts and Rock. Probably Yoder. But look for at least one "schocker"

The WORST thing is some guy makes the 53, then gets cut when the 'skins pick someone else up off waivers.

It's a cruel game kids.

Posted by: TheCork | September 4, 2009 1:12 AM | Report abuse

haha..i love reading posts from some of you ol school cats.....

IMO...keep this...

QB: JCamp, TColl, CBrennan
RB: Portis, Betts, Mason, Sellers, and ?? (Sorry Dorsey or Aldridge dont impress me and there is a reason why these guys are competing for a spot) Dorsey and Aldridge are average at best
WR: Moss, Kelly, Thomas, El, Mitchell
TE: Cooley, Davis, Yoder
OL: Samuels, Dock, Rabach, Thomas, Heyer, Rinehart, Bridge, MWilliams, and ??
DT/DE: Daniels, Haynesworth, Montgomery, Golston, Carter, Jarmon, Jackson, Alexander, Griffin, Dixon
LB: Orakpo, Fletcher, Henson, McIntosh, Blades, Wilson
CB/DB: Rogers, Hall, Landry, Horton, Smoot, Tryon, Barnes, Doughty, Moore
ST: H.Smith, Raynor, Albright

Just my thoughts....hopefully that equals 53..haha

dagger, i hated the days of true anonymity. Although it was funny when one person would have a conversation with themselves by just changing their names.

There were some schizophrenic people really losing themselves on this blog. I started visiting this site about 5 months before registration happened.

It is ashame that it is being talked about on who is going to be the third QB. Who cares!

Posted by: trubin | September 4, 2009 12:21 PM | Report abuse

Cut either one now (Brennen or Daniel) cut the other one after picking up someone cut by another team. They both have to scrabble too much because they can not see over the linemen. Anyway, the only cut I care about is the Redskins keeping Marko Mitchell.
