Zorn Spells West Coast with an "I"

Everyone thinks West Coast offense and has visions of multi-receiver spread formations, the ball being chucked all over the place. But I've liked the rotation of the I-formation, two tight end sets the last few weeks.

Tight ends Chris Cooley and Todd Yoder can both catch and block, and sending Yoder in motion on the TD Sunday, rolling Campbell out right, and giving a strong run look at the same time was a thing of beauty. The way Zorn toggled between spread and power personnel around the goal line was pretty shrewd, too, and had a lot to do with how easily Clinton Portis was able to jaunt into the end zone for his TD (Zorn called a pass to Yoder one play prior out of the balanced I).

"It gives us a lot of options," Yoder said of the two-tight end sets, "because both me and Chris can do lot of different things. You don't know if they'll move us around, put us out wide out, use us in tight. It's tough for defenses to prepare for."

Just a hunch here, but I could see Sellers end up getting a ball or two thrown his way, maybe even out of the I, sometime soon as another look to keep defenses honest inside the red zone. I know Zorn is using stuff like throwing out of the "I" to set up other plays from the same formation down the line. It's been a lot of fun watching him operate.

Randoms: Those Coors Light coach commercials weren't lame enough in that faux press conference settings? They really needed to apply that weak concept to the sidelines now? I'd say they jumped the shark, but those things stunk from jump street ... Been into Polish beer lately. Don't laugh. It's good stuff, and I'm not just saying that because my mom's maiden name is Matuszak. Check out Zywiec. Sometimes it's a little pricey, but it's a nice change of pace ... Jason Campbell has attempted 32 passes in the fourth quarter, tied for third-most in the NFL ... Three of the NFL's top nine rushers are rookies ... Dallas TE Jason Whitten leads the NFL with eight third-down catches. No doubt he will be a go-to guy in those situations Sunday, and I wonder how the Skins will match up. Horton could play him within that Cobra package, with two deep safeties still back. With Rocky McIntosh looking better by the week maybe he's ready for more work in coverage, too.

PFT continues to chronicle the JLC vs. Vinny pissing match:

LA CANFORA ACCUSES CERRATO OF SLANDER
Posted by Mike Florio on September 23, 2008, 9:21 a.m. EDT
It’s not yet quite as interesting as Herrera-Kawakami I, but the verbal slugfest between Jason La Canfora of the Washington Post and Redskins Executive Vice President Vinny Cerrato is nevertheless entertaining.

By way of background (for those of you who didn’t check the site last night and prefer to get the story without having to exert the effort of, you know, scrolling down the page), Cerrato said during his Monday radio show that La Canfora had called the league office regarding comments Cerrato made on Friday about Raiders coach (for now) Lane Kiffin.

“Jason La Canfora, he called the NFL to ask them, are they not gonna charge the Washington Redskins with tampering,” Cerrato said on Monday.

At one point on Monday, Cerrato was imprecise (inadvertently or otherwise) in his description of the situation, and he suggested that La Canfora had actually “charged” the Redskins with tampering.

Later on Monday, the Post responded to Cerrato’s accusation via an entry from sports editor Emilio Garcia-Ruiz.

Garcia-Ruiz explained that La Canfora called the league office only to generally ask whether tampering rules could be implicated if Cerrato were to answer questions about persons under contract with other NFL teams, and that the Kiffin situation was mentioned only to “provide context.”

But then Garcia-Ruiz offered a quote from a league spokesman, which painted a somewhat different picture, in our view: “Jason LaCanfora called our office and said that Vinny Cerrato was talking in specifics on his radio show about the Raiders’ coaching position. Jason wanted to know if that could possibly be a tampering issue.”

Despite the tap-dancing from Garcia-Ruiz, the reality is that La Canfora specifically called about the Kiffin comments, and not part of a general inquiry into what Cerrato can and can’t say about persons under contract with other teams. The reasonable inference that can be drawn from this is that La Canfora was hoping to blow the whistle on Cerrato and the Redskins.

And now that we’ve fully summarized the situation via ten minutes of typing in order to save our fine audience from two seconds of scrolling, here’s the latest. In an e-mail sent by La Canfora on Monday afternoon regarding the situation, La Canfora offered this stinging assessment of Cerrato: “He is a making a mockery of fact and reality and trying to play people for fools. . . . Its [a] pathetic attempt to slander me, but not surprising in the least given who it is coming from.”

Ouch.

On one hand, we’d love to see this thing further disintegrate into allegations of pot-smoking and threats of litigation and/or physical violence. On the other hand, it needs to end.

We think that La Canfora had every right to ask the question that he posed to the league office, but he should not be surprised that Cerrato reacted negatively. And Garcia-Ruiz shouldn’t try to apply D.C.-style political spin to the apparent fact that La Canfora was trying to agitate.

That’s what we do. We look for ways to legitimately stir things up. But when an effort to do so requires us to pick eggshells out of our eyebrows, the better approach is to move on.

And if we choose not to move on, we need to at least acknowledge that, yeah, we were thinking that maybe we’d get someone in trouble for doing something they shouldn’t have been doing, and thus fully deserve to get into trouble for. If the media declined to take such chances for fear of periodically being incorrect, then lots of wrongdoing would never be exposed.

In this specific case, however, we’re still a bit troubled by La Canfora’s apparent personal bias against Cerrato. It’s an issue that surely will affect La Canfora’s relationship with Cerrato, and possibly others in the franchise, and it’s something about which the readers of the Post should be aware as they assess La Canfora’s reports and opinions about the team.

I spell the west coast offense with INT, which is what Jason Campbell better not revert to throwing in the red zone, while playing dem Cowboys on Sunday.

Beating the Ain'ts without Colston, and the perennial loser Cardinals with their below average defense, does not make Campbell anything other than a mediocre QB.

The next two weeks will tell us if Jason Campbell is still the loser we all know him to be, or if he has amazed us all and become a QB with some potential.

I want you to remember one thing, the folks back home is a-countin' on you and by golly, we ain't about to let 'em down. I tell you something else, if this thing turns out to be half as important as I figure it just might be, I'd say that you're all in line for some important promotions and personal citations when this thing's over with. Using the "cobra" would be a mistake. They need an aggressive scheme to match up 1 v 1 on TO and Witten, with Landry playing the cover-1. Everyone else should be concentrated on getting to Romo or aggressively attacking Barber/Jones. Stick with what we did in DC last year, not what we did @Dallas.

I don't get it? What "hunches"? I think Florio nailed this one in his comments above. As I said yesterday this has turned into a who's got the bigger SJK and in the end I think JLC loses more credibility because he is supposed to be impartial while Vinny can carry the Skins banner and be as partisan as he wants. Either way the whole topic is stupid but Danny (quite shrewdly i might add) is trying to spin this into JLC against the Skins and JLC should drop it quickish.

Jason acts like he is trying to be the next Peter King and it isn't going to work. For years we have had occasional bursts of insight about the team on RI, but we need to wade through miscellaneous dreck about Chloe, Rocco, Jason's family in Baltimore, the EPL, beer (hey...Polish beer...who cares), and whatever random topic Jason feels compelled to write about that day.

You want a personal blog? Head on over to Blogger...it takes less than five minutes and you can write and write and write about ANYTHING! Given Jason's critically damaged relationship with the Redskins it is time that his editors do the right thing and give the job full-time to Jason Reid with help from Barry Svurluga (sp?) once the Nationals season is over.

Funny thing about this whole JLA-Cerrato mess is that Vinny has many, many, many friends throughout the NFL. Sure, he may have a few detractors, but he is one of the consumate networkers in the league and would be a candidate for "Rush" chair in the fraternity. Whether we as fans like him or not, he does have some good friends in the league.

JLA likes to paint Vinny as a boob, but he is going after someone who is well liked generally and at least moderately respected in some circles. It's really fools gold on JLA's part to think that he's going to get traction within the league with his smear campaign. He should stick to RI, where he at least "had" some semblance of influence.

I don't think anyone should lose an assignment over this. JLA you should just use the experience as an ego check and get back to reporting on football. Let the FO do it's business and judge them by what the skins do on the field....if I recall, the FO stepped up big time with the #21 tradgedy and other matters.

As Paul McCartney would say: "Let it be".

The way I see it, the skins need to keep the girls to about 24 points. Minimize the big play. Make the girlz march the field. Keep the skins offensive flow and production in the last 2 games and the skins will have a good chance to win this game.

Prolly already been posted but :

2. I think Boys Will Be Boys, Jeff Pearlman's new book about the Dallas Cowboys in their glory days, and their decline from them, should not be dismissed as the rantings of a jaded sportswriter. Pearlman, obviously, has hit several nerves, and I applaud him for it.

Pearlman writes that Michael Irvin, incensed that tackle Everett McIver, in mid-haircut, would not leave a barber chair at training camp in 1998 so Irvin could get his haircut first, stabbed McIver in the neck. McIver was rushed to the hospital and survived, but not without losing a lot of blood. Irvin's silence on the charge has been deafening. I asked a Cowboy who played on that team if the story was true. "Absolutely,'' the Cowboy said. "I'm surprised it was kept quiet over the years.''

Pearlman writes in great detail about the White House, the house of ill repute Dallas players owned and managed near Valley Ranch, and he lampoons Deion Sanders, quoting Dallas corner Kevin Smith thusly: "When Deion came in, something changed for the worse. Guys who should have been studying football on a Wednesday at 12 o'clock were focused on other things. Deion was such a freaky athlete that he could shake one leg and be ready to cover anyone. But the guys following his lead weren't nearly as talented.'

In the first defensive team meeting Sanders attended, Pearlman writes, Sanders put his feet up on a table, and when defensive coordinator Dave Campo asked him to break down a play, Sanders said, "Hey, coach. I got that dude right there. Wherever he goes, I go. All that Cover Two stuff you're talking about -- y'all work that out.''

Pearlman writes that Troy Aikman was disgusted by Sanders. And Barry Switzer, too. He also notes that Switzer's liquor tab during the week of the Pittsburgh-Dallas Super Bowl in Arizona was $100,000. That's a heck of an example to set, Barry. What a great hire.

These past two games show us nothing, but the same flashes of talent we have seen, since the beginning. He needs to play consistently against above average teams in a winning way for us to decide he is our QB. Do you want to be an 8-8 team, or an elite dynasty?

Posted by: Sports_Guru | September 23, 2008 11:09 AM

Hey "Sports Guru", would those two games still show "nothing" if he played poorly? Or would that be further "evidence" that JC is a "mediocre talent"?

Regardless of what happens in Dallas this weekend or whatever his final QB rating is, he can play in this league. Period. If Trent f-ing Dilfer and Eli Gump can lead a team to a Super Bowl, so can JC.

Minimize the big play. Make the girlz march the field.

Posted by: TWISI | September 23, 2008 11:12 AM

I think this is the opposite approach to what the skins need. Obviously they don't want to give up the big play, but they can't go into the game thinking their main goal is to minimize it. If they play too safe, Barber will march all over them, and that is NOT what the skins need. They need an aggressive, attacking defense to shut down Barber, and force Romo to beat them with pressure in his face. If we get beat long, so be it. Hit the cowboys in the mouth and see how they react, rather than try and absorb a beating in an attempt to minimize points.

I think the Redskins have to go all-in against Dallas. They're on the road, no one but the fans expect them to win, so why not throw the kitchen sink at Dallas and maybe they can steal one on the road.

I'm thinking a few trick plays on offense and few unexpected bring-the-house blitzes.

If they lose, oh well, the Skins play them again at home later this season.

The Rams, Mike McGuire's favorite team, aren't home when McGuire will be in St. Louis, but Snyder and Bulger stepped up to take care of that. Snyder will host McGuire, wife Pam, and the brother of the wounded Koulchar at the Rams-Redskins game Oct. 12. And Bulger, whose foundation provides care and R&R for American troops, will host McGuire at Rams Park.

You think those things don't mean a lot? McGuire, like so many of our soldiers, lives for the NFL, plans his week around it, talks endlessly about it out on patrol. And for the owner of the Redskins and the quarterback of his favorite team to take the time and effort to recognize him ... it's something McGuire will remember for the rest of his life.

Fellas, I'm a Dallas fan from the early 70s. It doesn't surprise me that some or many of the 90s Cowboys were vulgar in the extreme. As long as the team wins, who cares...right? That's the sporting equivalent to "my country right or wrong".

The pollsters found that the US had changed by the 92 election, and that "character didn't matter." Both the Boys White House and the one in DC were made into dens of iniquity. As C.S. Lewis wrote: "We laugh at Honour and are shocked to find traitors in our midst."

To the extent that this comment has a political subtext, it applies equally to both major parties and much of pro sports. This message approved by Darrell Dallas.

Ash in SEA,

Oh no, this was no simple rule clarification. JLC called the league, referenced comments made by Cerrato on his radio show, then asked if those specific comments constituted tampering according to NFL rules. Meaning: JLC was trying to "catch" Cerrato in a specific NFL rule violation on his radio show.

Is this just good old investigative journalism on the part of JLC? No way, and don't you kid yourself int thinking otherwise! Read the NFL's response: the comments made by Cerrato on his show about league personnel are made everyday by league employees. Meaning: other GM's make comments like this all the time. Etc.

Put down the JLC kool-aid before you really hurt yourself, kid!

X stabed someone in the throat in a rage. X did coke because it made him feal good.

why are these crimes punished differently?
because its harming another vs ones self.

Totally differnt actions and intent.
But we condem both differnetly thats why we have Murder 1 vs Murder 2, manslaughter. Thats why you can plea insanity. But not all crims are =ly punished.

No, I think folks are missing the point that JLC should be REPORTING Redskins news, not making it. I don't give a damn whether he likes Vinny or not--just do your job! If you hate him that much, get a job at another paper covering another team.

Think about it: how many of us don't like a certain co-worker? Or boss? If you let it affect your work you're only hurting yourself. And in JLC's case, he's hurting himself from a professional standpoint and all of us from a quality standpoint. Either way, he needs to either suck it up and move on from the "I hate Vinny because he lied to me" thing or get the hell off the Redskins beat. I'm sure he'll get along great with Leonsis...

+++Sure, B. Lloyd looks decent thus far... But keep in mind Da Bears have no frigging WRs to speak of.

I'm sure if you removed Santana Moss, ARE, and James Thrash from the roster, and B. Lloyd was the primary receiver here, he'd have the same numbers as he currently does with Chicago.

Posted by: MrRedskin21 | September 23, 2008 9:27 AM+++

Trouble with that theory is Lloyd was handed the starting job when those guys were down with injuries, or even when they weren't and couldn't catch a cold then.

It's not a surprising psychological behavior. A guy signs for a zillion dollars, doesn't care or try, gets cut, get remotivated or returns to familiar ground, and is good.

Amen to that. THANK GOD for the "Mute" button. As far as beer is concerned, strained Pond Water is tastier than Coors Light.

My Mom's maiden name was "Gallagher" and I liked me that Smithwickes when in Ireland, but it doesn't travel well.

Kinda like San Miguel, which I LOVED in the Philippines back in the day. But when they imported here, pasteurization took most of the taste out of it.

One of the BIGGEST keys to a good beer? Freshness. It's true. Always buy your beer where there's a lot of turnover. It loses its flavor when stale. (except OLDE FROTHINSLOSH: "The Pale Stale Ale with the Foam on the Bottom")

That's why even mediocre beer tastes better at the ballpark ofr a busy bar--it's fresher.

I hate to interrupt the Mama/Daddy jokes and JLC hate, but here's some actual Redskin content from ESPN.com:

What will Jason Taylor's absence mean for 'Skins?

September 23, 2008 9:00 AM

The Redskins traded for veteran defensive end Jason Taylor for days just like this Sunday against the Cowboys. When Philip Daniels went down with a season-ending knee injury in training camp, Redskins executive vice president Vinny Cerrato quickly worked a deal with the Dolphins.

Now, Taylor's streak of playing in 133 consecutive games will come to an end because of a medical procedure on his leg Monday. Taylor was kicked in the shin against the Cardinals. The injury couldn't have happened at a worse time. After looking like a non-factor in the Redskins' first two games, Taylor played well against Kurt Warner and applied plenty of pressure. (I tried to give Taylor a sack in the game, but his one sack of the season actually came against the Saints).

The Eagles, Browns and Packers haven't been able to get pressure on Romo, and he's burned them all with long passes. Taylor's absence will force defensive coordinator Greg Blache to blitz more Sunday, and that's not the strength of the Redskins' defense.

This is not a secondary that forces a lot of coverage sacks. To this point, I think Taylor has looked pretty uncomfortable at times in Blache's scheme. When he's able to return, Blache needs to do a better job of moving him around and finding the best matchups. He's not particularly strong against the run, and that's where teams such as the Giants and Cowboys flourish. He's definitely made a move over the past couple of weeks, but he's not the dominant player the Redskins hoped he'd be.

Seventh-year defensive end Demetric Evans will replace Taylor. I think Evans will have a big game. He played for the Cowboys early in his career, and he loves playing against them. I talked to him last season about his time in Dallas, and he said he begins every season by circling those dates on the schedule. I know some of you (many) think I'm nuts, but it really wouldn't surprise me if Evans has a big game.

+++LA CANFORA ACCUSES CERRATO OF SLANDER
Posted by Mike Florio on September 23, 2008, 9:21 a.m. EDT
It’s not yet quite as interesting as Herrera-Kawakami I, but the verbal slugfest between Jason La Canfora of the Washington Post and Redskins Executive Vice President Vinny Cerrato is nevertheless entertaining.++++

The "Herrera-Kawakami" dustup involves a team exec yelling ON CAMERA at a press conference at a reporter: "LIAR! LIAR!" he yelled.

Its' no coincidence that the TEAM involved is also beset with bad ownership and an incompetent front office. Who?

DUH RAIDERS!!

Two differences between Ceratto/Snyder and Herrera/Al Davis.

The Redskins team doesnt' suffer from senile dementia (that we know of). On the other hand, the Redskins team has never won a Superbowl, either under that duo of losers.

At least VINNIE's on air alleged slander clarifies why he cleared his "Busy" schedule to do a radio show. Maybe it's so he can up his attacks on the Post and the other Media who won't play the Redskins PR game.

Evidently the legions of Redskin Park employees assigned to monitor RI and attack JLA and praise the Moony paper every day weren't getting the job done.

Gentlemen--your turn.

And to clarify. JLA is far from flawless. But that's the price you pay for a free press. Good for him and the Post for standing up to petty tyrants trying to restrict the free flow of information.

T.O Was on a radio show in Jersey today and said that he felt he played a Big role in last nights win. He said he knew he wouldn't get many looks because of being triple teamed and tried to be effective in other ways. He wanted to be there to block and lead the way for his teammates to score. He said he is so proud of Miles and it has been an honor for him to watch him grow into the receiver he was last night.
He also said as proud as he was of Miles next week he plans on duplicating last years Redskin game. He said he will be disappointed with 3 TD's... He said he is going to train all week even by himself and with the team and that double and triple coverage will not stop him. He said that Jason has some wrinkles that will help T.O shed those extra defenders if Washington takes the same approach GreeBay did.
The jocky asked him what he thought of washington's secondary and he yelled out "I WANT SPRINGS!"
Oh yea and they asked him if he was upset last night and T.O said yea of course I was upset! Upset with my self. I knew I wouldn't have many chances and the ones I did get I felt like I blew them. I apologized to Tony and the team and told them I would make up for it next week.

BULGER GETS BENCHED
Posted by Mike Florio on September 23, 2008, 12:09 p.m.
As Rams coach Scott Linehan sees his football life flashing before his eyes, he’s doing the one thing that any coach can do to try to save his butt.

He’s changing quarterbacks.

Adam Schefter of NFL Network reports that the Rams have benched Marc Bulger, and that he’ll be replaced by Trent Green.

Last year, the Rams made the same move at a time when Bulger was nursing broken ribs. This time around, Bulger is healthy.

Ironically, the guy who replaced Bulger last year was Gus Frerotte, who last week became the starter in Minnesota after Tarvaris Jackson was benched.

It’s a far bigger deal in St. Louis, where Bulger received a six-year, $65 million deal in 2007 after missing a day or so of training camp. Roughly 14 months later, Bulger has been yanked from the lineup.

The move is surprising but not shocking. Linehan can’t worry about whether the Rams get a return on their investment in Bulger; Linehan needs to win games or he’ll be gone.

Meanwhile, Green has regained the gig that he had in 1999, until a preseason hit to the knee from Rodney Harrison opened the door for the ascension of Kurt Warner and the rest of the Greatest Showoffs on Turf.

Gee, I hate to defend the Washington Post(a worthless eliteist commie rag, etc.) but JLC is just doing his job. If he (and Keim and Woody and Elfin etc.)don't stir things a bit, all you will hear is whatever Larry Michael wants you to hear. That would not be good.

To summarize,

Today we've discussed:

1. The Wall Street Bail Out
2. Kurt Warner's moral superiority
3. Michael Irvin's stabbing of another Cowboy.
4. We're still ongoing about whether or not Jason Campbell is a quality NFL QB - (Dude - if the jury weren't out and leaning towards a yes answer after the last two games, then you are blind. I'm sorry)
5. Incest
6. Homosexuality
oh, and yeah
7. Many are still making a big deal out of Jason's stupid phone call to the NFL offices. If you think that he was going to cost us draft picks, or even thought he was going to, please go to the back of the room and put on your dunce hat. That's just crazy talk.

I think this blog is about to implode from the many sub-plots - Calm down everyone:

1. Jason's not going anywhere - interesting that other than the unverifible multi tentacled anonymous, most of the posters calling for Jason's head seem to be new.
2. We're going to beat the Cowboys
3. Kurt Warner has no write to tell me (or anyone else) how to live their life as long as they don't break the law and don't hurt anyone else.
4. Jason Campbell looks like he's made at least a long step forward in his progress.
5. Yes, I can't believe that the Irvin stabbing incident took so long to come out into the open.
6. Incest is bad

Ad hominem attacks are great... when you can't make an argument or dislike the other person you're arguing with... just call them names! Brilliant! Sticks & stones and all.

Grow up Flounder. You waste everyone's time.

maybe we can change the topic from Jasno/Cerrato to something everyone can agree on ... like politics or religion.

----------------

As to your first point, I am more convinced than ever.

As to your second, it assumes that Larry Michael has an opinion independent of Dan Snyder, er, Red Zebra. That's a reach.

1. Tell an outrageous lie.
2. Repeat the SAME outrageous lie about a million times.
3. Wait for the rubes to accept the formerly outrageous lie as fact.

Laugh if you will, it decided the last two Presidential elections...

This could be applied on the acount of La Canfora and Cerrato & Skins. At this point I think it's clear that La Canfora has it out for the Redskins and needs to be replaced (I don't wish the man to be fired)
As somone who was once a huge JLC supporter, thats hard for me to say, honestly.

Has the Cerrato vs. JLC beef made national media yet? I'd love to see this debated on Around the Horn and PTI.

Seriously guys, this is Dallas week. If Vinny has nothing better to do this week than cry about JLC, than our record since he's been involved with the organization is completely justified. Maybe JLC gets a little frazzled cause Vinny lies to him or won't talk to him, but he still calls a pretty straight game. When the Skins make stupid moves, he says so, when they make good moves, he gives them credit. Let's get off JLC's a s s and talk about something important. LIKE BEATING THE COWBOYS!

The truth hurts, and that's what JLC usually reports and discusses. The only time he acted like a baby was when Vinny lied about J. Taylor. Otherwise, its Vinny and the Skins who act like children. Shouldn't they (Dan and Vinny) be doing their jobs rather than looking at RI all day long?

Hello Alex and Hello Flounder,

Someone else is posting as me sending you guys on a wild goose chase, sorry.

He / she obviously could not stand to see the inconsistency to which I was pointing out on the blog regarding "tolerance".

The posts at 11:45 and 11:53 were by an imposter.

And yes, Flounder and Alex you are both correct. All crimes are not treated equally. It is dependent upon the severity of how one has broken the law.

As humanity, we have within us the ability to reason that though speeding and murder are both wrong, they should not be judged with the same severity of punishment.

The impostor reveals he has no weight in his "tolerance" rhetoric, so he resorts to posing as me to hide behind his empty position.... sorry he sent you on a wild goose chase.

Here is a question, how come he called me a phony, yet it is he himself who performs dishonest acts on the blog?

So he is the actual phony, the actual hypocrite. Because a hypocrite applies one standard to others, and does not apply that same standard to himself.

wow, guru, you need to ease up, two games in a row now JC has led us to victory in the 4th quarter and has been protecting the ball and is a genuine threat. Your a moron if you think that's mediocre and if you think there is anybody else on the SKins roster (Colt) that is a better option than him. I have been critical of JC in the past, but he looks like he may have taken that step forward. He has been anything but "mediocre" the last two weeks. Sure the next two weeks are big, but if you would have told anybody on here, we'd be 2-3 after the brutal opening schedule we have and that through three games JC wouldn't have no turnovers we'd have all taken that in a second. The next two weeks we're playing with house money, if we can steal one that's great! but regardless, we come out of the toughest part of our schedule still very much in the wild card hunt and we get everybody at home in our division and we start with the Rams. We're in great shape and JC is playing well, back off!

Yup. Reassign JLC. The Mystics need a bit more coverage. Maybe he'll like them.

Hey, JLC wrote about football, this is a good thing.

ON TOPIC: I loved the offensive formations against Arizona. But Dallas is just a wee bit tougher.
