  • Pepa of the '80s rap group trio Salt-n-Pepa was in federal court in Baltimore this week to sue her ex, his new wife and others over a Charm City investment property she claims they took via fraud. The Daily Record reports she testified in a black leather jacket and tight black jeans and said she was cold and nervous.

  • Britney Spears vindicated! Sort of. A judge declared a mistrial yesterday in her 2007 driving-without-a-license case when the jury "hopelessly deadlocked" after three days. The foreman said two jurors insisted she was guilty. No retrial, says the prosecutor.

  • David Duchovny will sue Britain's Daily Mail for claiming he cheated with his 28-year-old tennis instructor, reports the N.Y. Daily News. A lawyer for the actor, just out of sex-addiction rehab, insists there was no affair of any kind.
