Anne Hathaway's skeezy ex-boyfriend Raffaello Follieri was sentenced yesterday to 4 1/2 years in prison for wire fraud, money laundering and conspiracy. Follieri, 30, told Manhattan federal court he had good intentions but "what I did was wrong and there is no point in making excuses." Pleaded guilty last month; will probably be placed at a New Jersey or New York prison.
That stolen $2.5 million Shakespeare First Folio that landed at the Folger Shakespeare Library this past summer (Brit Raymond Scott arrived unannounced seeking to authenticate the 400-year-old book) is headed home to England, reports The Post's David Montgomery. After months of evidence-gathering by Folger librarian Richard Kuhta, the folio -- housed in a nondescript briefcase -- left Washington yesterday in the firm grip of British detective Michael Callan, headed directly for a flight to Heathrow. Scott currently faces charges for stealing the folio from Durham University in 1998.
