Hey, Isn't That . . . ?

Kristin Chenoweth at a Reagan National baggage carousel yesterday -- shiny black boots, loose up-do, big smile for the guy who stared a little too long as he recognized her. The tiny singer/actress is taping a "Christmas in Washington" special for TNT (also starring Dr. Phil and Darius Rucker) at the National Building Museum on Sunday.

I remember about 10 or 12 years ago, attending a performance of A Prairie Home Companion at Wolf Trap. One of the guests on the show was Kristin Chenoweth. After the show, a gaggle of us PHC fans mobbed Garrison Keillor for autographs. A very bewildered-looking Chenoweth emerged from the stage door, pondered the mob scene as everyone ignored her. I doubt she would be so ignored today!
