That shiner on Dana Perino? A microphone hit the White House press sec in the eye Sunday during the melee in Iraq, when a reporter tossed his shoes at President Bush and security teams wrestled the culprit to the ground. Perino told reporters yesterday she's "fine."
Lynne Cheney's next book will be a biography of James Madison. The deal with Viking was brokered by uber-lawyer Bob Barnett; book is due out in 2011.
Peter Falk has Alzheimer's disease, according to court documents filed by his daughter, who is seeking a conservatorship for the 81-year-old actor. Falk is best known as the rumpled detective "Columbo" in the Emmy-winning television series.
