Roland Burris dining on seafood and steak with three friends at the Monocle Tuesday night, and guess what? Hours after he was rebuffed at the Capitol, Illinois' maybe-junior senator was the most popular guy in the place! Throngs of fellow diners came over to greet him, even the owner's teenage kids who drove across town to meet him. Coincidence? Burris sat under an autographed photo of California Sen. Dianne Feinstein, the first key Democrat to back him.
Scott Hamilton dining solo in jeans at Zengo downtown Tuesday. The Olympic gold-medal skater had Pellegrino, pot stickers, sushi, left a 20 percent tip.
