Ashley Judd, looking very springlike standing outside the Ritz-Carlton in a sleeveless green dress, shawl, beautiful shoes ... in yesterday morning's snow! (Naomi, tell your girl to get a winter coat!) Turns out the actress, who sits on the board of D.C.'s Population Services International, was here for a NARAL luncheon.

Roxanne and Amy: Thanks for the "hey, isn't that" spotting of Ashley Judd. I was at National Airport yesterday afternon waiting on the Metro platform when I saw a limo pull up at the termnal and a brunette get out. From that distance, I couldn't identify her, but I took notice of the shoes and the dress and shawl in the snowy weather. There were 3 men waiting when she got out of the car and it appeared that she signed autographs. She also posed for pictures with them. One followed her into the terminal with a video camera. I told this story to my colleagues back and the office, and told them I hoped that "hey, isn't that" would help me find out who she was. You came through for me. Thanks.
