Three Pros Who Know How to Pose

Perfectly lovely pre-ball dinner the Impact Film Fund threw last night -- open bar, tasty food -- except for the unavoidable moment when the three prettiest people in the room were ritualistically marched in front of a symbol-covered backdrop and forced to -- pose.

Fortunately, one was comic Sarah Silverman (with Ben Affleck and Jessica Alba), who alleviated the growing awkwardness when someone dropped a glass by shouting, "Everyone's okay!"

Oh, the inhumanity of the red carpet. How do they endure it? Is there a trick? Is it an art? A science?

"Nah. Just smile," Affleck told us when we asked him post-RC.

As for Sarah? Said Silverman, in a long, slinky red dress: "I always just worry about what angle will make my arms look thin. I'll feel so beautiful and confident when I'm out there, and then I go look at myself in the bathroom and think ughhhh."

Looks more like 'gangsta rap' threads.

The story is describing Sarah Silverman at Tuesday's Impact Film Fund party; the photo is of Silverman at Monday's Huffington Post party. She walked a lot of red carpets this week!
