So, what happened to that big Oprah party everyone expected? Never happened -- she decided that too many events were already scheduled, BFF Gayle King told Access Hollywood. The Queen of Chat went to Sunday's ball for the Root and had an intimate dinner at Blair House with the Obamas; she spent most of Monday taping her show at the Kennedy Center.
On Tuesday, she was spotted with boyfriend Stedman Graham and King at the swearing-in ceremony, and she attended the official Illinois and Hawaii Home States ball, her rep said. (Without anyone noticing her? Remarkable.) Then the most exclusive soiree of all: Oprah was a guest at a late-night party at the White House, the Chicago Sun-Times reports. The president and first lady left the last of the official inaugural balls at 12:45 a.m., then headed to their new digs for champagne with a select group of insiders.
