Ri-united

The saga of Rihanna and Chris Brown took an unexpected -- and for many fans, unhappy -- turn this weekend with news that they've reunited -- and are holed up in the Miami Beach home of Sean "Diddy" Combs. "They're together again," a source told People.com. "They care for each other." Brown called Rihanna on her 21st birthday Feb. 20, and she joined him in Florida soon after. "She's not listening to anyone," one of her friends told UsMagazine.com. "And of course Puff got involved in this."
News of the reconciliation came just three weeks after allegations that Brown, 19, severely assaulted Rihanna the day both were scheduled to perform at the Grammys. The two have not been seen together since, but details about the altercation were leaked to the media.
Rihanna's father has already weighed in: "I love my daughter with whatever road she takes," Ronald Fenty told Us from his home in Barbados. "I'm behind her, win or lose. I will be supportive. If that's the road she wants to choose, I'm behind her."
But some fans are dismayed that she went back to someone who allegedly abused her. "It sets a terrible example for women everywhere," one fan posted on MTV.com. "Rihanna really disappointed me." Others wondered if she has jeopardized both her singing career and endorsement deals.
Reps for Rihanna, Brown and Combs have not commented.
